Unfortunately, the service wasn’t as good as it should be, given the location . Understaffed, perhaps? We were seated promptly, given water, menu, then no one in sight for 20 mins. It wasn’t even at half capacity. We finished our waters long before being seen by another waiter/waitress, no water refills offered. We placed our orders, then waited a little over 39 mins for our food to arrive . I received my French toast (one piece of bread) . $15! Not worth it.

The service was terrible. Two of our party ordered the steak frites, and they left out the frites!!! Had to argue with the waiter about it, never got them. Wanted to charge us for a side order. Wow, do not go here!
Super quick service, even when incredibly busy
Food wasn’t very good, the soup had very little flavor. The ribs were too sweet. The fries weren’t cooked fully. The service was not any better as we waited over 20 minutes to get the check, even though we told the waiter we were done.
The food was amazing. Had the American breakfast with impossible sausage. The staff are so nice. We didn't have to wait outside for a table. Definitely will come back next trip to San Francisco!
Very bad organisation: getting the main course before one if the appetizers; we sent the main course back; they served the same - now cold - plates 10 min. later⦠only after a discussion we got fresh plates
The location is great for Theater goers. The food was delicious and prices very reasonable. The service was very slow but I believe that was because they don't have enough staff. The staff there was working very hard and doing the best they can. I would highly recommend Jaspers.
Apparently understaffed? I had made reservations for dinner for 4 at a standard table, because we had time constraints. Upon arrival, was told we could either sit in bar (next to entrance door) or sit at two small cocktail tables. Reluctantly we took the small tables. When asked about all the open booths in next room, I was told "its for a private party." But the booths were empty the entire time we were there! Was it a lack of staff? We then waited over 30 minutes for someone to take our order . I walked up to the bar to ask if I could order some drinks, since no one had come to our table. Young woman working behind bar at register turned around and said she was working our table and would come take our order. 20 minutes later she finally tended to us. Overall, staff seemed disinterested and certainly not service oriented. We ordered our food at the time we ordered our drinks because we were running short of time (had allowed 1.5 hours.) Food arrived before drinks. Food was fine - but service really impacted our experience. One order of fries was not delivered. When we asked about it, waitress went to kitchen and returned with them saying "oh, they were sitting in the kitchen." Very unprofessional. I know times are tough, but service still matters. Wont be returning.
Horrible service. Cold food. Poor menu. Avoid this place
