We wanted okonomoyaki specifically and this place claimed to specialize in it- so we ignored the first red flag (place was empty while everywhere else had a waitlist) and gave it a shot. The okonomiyaki arrived just room temperature with a couple warm-ish spots after supposedly having just been cooked.. I guess they are heating up leftovers or something? The taste was mediocre at best. They also make you pay up front (no table service) and all plates, utensils, etc are disposable. Compared to other restaurants nearby it's no wonder they were empty. Don't make the same mistake we did!

Delicious okonomiyaki and many options at that! Reasonable prices and excellent, friendly service. Would definitely come back here again.

Mediocre okonomiyaki at rip off price, far from what I had in Osaka. I can do a better job myself at home. One of the worst $19 I’ve spent on food. I wouldn’t return again.

I love the okonomiyaki at this place. I’ve had both the traditional and the modern and I’d say the modern is worth it and it’s really quite heavy. It’s closest to the original stuff I had in Japan!

Great place. Went twice and took the agedashi tofu ramen, it was really good and tasty.

Came in today for lunch with a group of friends. I ordered a deluxe okonomiyaki and it was delicious! Portion was filling too! My friends enjoyed their ramen and bento boxes. Despite the unique presentation of their food, (it's a mix of paper and porcelain dishware??) don't let it discourage you from eating here!!! Will come back again for the Okonomiyaki soon!!!

yakisoba is delicious! modernyaki a unique take on okonomiyaki!

Had the original Okonomiyaki pancake and the modern Yaki which add noodles to the pancake. Definitely get the original. The modern Yaki is too think and has too much starch. We seafood original Okonomiyaki is a winner.

I spent 2 weeks in Japan and ate Ramen almost twice a day. Their ramen was very good. Best I've had in San Francisco so far. You're cooking is truly an art form, thank you.

Only thing worth here is the okonomiyaki and their Bento boxes. Their boba and milk tea is nothing special at all.
