We went to Indochine for lunch and were really impressed. We got the Spring Rolls, Chow Mein, Sizzling Teriyaki Soy Beef, and the Shiitake Mushroom Sushi Rolls. The service was really fast and the food was all great - amazing portion sizes for the price. The only thing that we didn’t like was the sushi - would not recommend getting sushi from here but everything else was amazing. Will be back to try the other menu items!
Just had Bun hue spicy noodle and it was pretty good. The soup wasn’t that spicy but still was quite flavourful
A small little vegetarian/vegan place on Valencia (SF). We ordered fried wonton (appetizer), Mongolian delight and teriyaki tofu for the main. There was only one server and she was running around serving all the people giving her 100%, kudos to her. We got the main course first, before the appetizer and that’s my only gripe. The food was very good but the portions are too large for us to finish so we ended up wasting a bit.
The food was amazing! Every dish we got was so delicious. They did a great job. It was a very busy Saturday.
Awesome spot for vegan food! The mushroom stone pot with rice/noodles/tofu etc is so good and the portion is huge. I recommend eating the leftovers for breakfast with a fried egg :)
So happy to see a vegan place. Very fast service. The yogurt shoyu was a wonderful drink. In food, chow mein and bin hue noodle soup were both delightful. The non spicy version of the latter is utterly bland though, but once we added some soy sauce, salt and chili paste it became perfect. Reasonably priced too.
Had the lunch special. The presentation was excellent, but overall the food tasted ok. The roll was a bit too oily, the soup was made with canned pineapple and thus gave it a weird taste. The veggies and tofu were tasty but not amazing. The service was very good. I’d consider going back and trying a different item.
The place was empty at 7 pm on a Wednesday night. But strange for a neighborhood with so much foot traffic. However, I was glad I stopped for dinner. The caterpillar sushi was delightful as was the fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce. Very quick and efficient service.
This place is amazing, I get 90% of outdoor eats from here when I am near by. The fragrant clay pot rice is really good and a Big Bang for your buck. Orange Sesame tofu is amazing if you like some sweet and feel good chew with rice. Lastly I would recommend the papaya salad and 2nd lastly the sweet and sour is really good. This place is amazing and I will miss it
Varied menu and generous portions are what defines Indochine! The food is very tasty and usually served quickly. Pickup has worked very well too
