Good service, the employees are very friendly.

Amazing ramen soups, great gyozas

My husband and I (both vegan/vegetarian) went to this location for lunch this past Saturday. Normally we never go to Japanese restaurants because it's hard to avoid dashi in Japanese cuisine. When I found this place online and saw their vegan dishes, I was happy and encouraged and wanted to give it a try. First of all, due to the following note on their online menu: "please note that our vegan items are prepared in the same kitchen and cannot avoid contacting non non-vegan ingredients." I made a request to the waiter to please ask the chefs to change their gloves before making our vegan ramen bowls, thinking that the warning was about cross contamination due to the handling of food by human hands and/or utensils. However, to my surprise, the nice and friendly waiter informed me that they use the same fryer for all ingredients (veggies, meat, seafood), and the vegan bowls are actually not vegan (not even vegetarian) since they have been cooked in and contaminated by the same oil by various meats and fish/seafood ingredients. Since we were with other people, we couldn't just get up and leave. Instead, we compromised by substituting out all the fried items (kale, squash, mushrooms, bell peppers) and we were left with inari, spinach, nori. Not a very satisfying or interesting meal. If you are vegetarian/vegan, please be careful when you eat at Japanese (or any other) restaurants that are not 100% vegan (or vegetarian), and don't necessarily trust menu items that are marked "vegan" or "vegetarian." Also, I waited a few minutes for one of their two (individual) bathrooms right after one of their chefs had used it and found that the previous occupant (who I assume must be the chef since it's unlikely that he had spent a few minutes in the bathroom doing nothing but take a break) had not flushed the toilet but instead had covered up the dirty content with toilet paper and napkins. I thought maybe the toilet wasn't working, but it was fine. I flushed it, and the water pressure and flow was normal and strong. Sadly, I will definitely not return to this place.

Phenomenal vegetarian ramen! They had two vegan options, and we had both. My favorite was the creamy— so rich- but also loved the zen. So fresh and so much flavor! The servers were attentive and kind. Loved that they gave us plenty of water. And they made my son plain noodles and broth. Highly recommend!

Great ramen. I was surprised that my ramen dish was so amazingly tasty with alot of flavors in the food and broth. Highly recommend it. I got thr vegan ramen and added the pumpkin squash and didn't disappoint.??. The special ramen pictured below is popular.

Solid ramen. The house broth is delicious. Love the ramen noodles they use. We also got a bowl with double noodles and it was great. Level 1 spicy was just right. Self order and pay with QR code. Super easy. We went at an off time and service was great. Would absolutely eat here again and recommend to others.

Excellent food and great service. I had the Hamaguri ramen and it was delicious! However, use caution when choosing a spice level. Level 1 (the lowest) is already quite spicy!

Top tier place. My first experience with Takoyaki and it was amazing. So soft and fluffy I never noticed the octopus. The ramen was also obviously delicious. Highly recommend.

Hinodeya ramen is actually a 3 for flavor (remember this is a dashi based broth, not tonkotsu) but my curry rice is nasty, like a negative -1 star. They forgot my order of chicken cutlet curry so I didnt get my food until my company's done with theirs, mind you they're not even busy. The rice is soggy as you can see in the picture (yuk) and the consistency of the curry is like broth... Flavor was ok and the chicken cutlet was crispy but really how can you have soggy rice in Japanese curry? It's like eating California roll with soggy rice... Ugh...What a shame. Not coming back.

Amazing Ramen-experience. Had the house Ramen, a rice dish, and chicken finger food as take-away. Food was superb (and the containers for take way really preserved the freshness). Staff is more than accommodating and super friendly. Absolutely recommendable. Thank you/ arigatou gozaimasu. :)
