This was not our first time at this beautiful restaurant. But this time around, their amazing service began before we stepped foot at their restaurant. I called to make sure, if they’d allow us to bring our little dog (in his stroller) who for medical reasons, can’t be left alone. We requested outdoor seating to make sure, none of their patrons would be uncomfortable. Despite the fact that they did not have their outdoor seating available on Wednesdays, they made an exception and accommodated us. Our waitress, their delicious in season artichokes and everything else we ordered were the icing on the cake. We love this restaurant. Great location, outstanding service and amazing food. Thank you for your great service.
Certainly not the caliber that I've experienced for this restaurant in Dallas and Scottsdale. Server did not get meals correctly delivered. One meal was cold and the check was not split as requested. Asked server to notify manager, but after checking, manager was never made aware.
A lively and warm venue with great quality food and staff. If your party has more than 4 people then they may not be able to reserve you so someone should go in to put their name on the waitlist. Besides that the food, specifically the steaks, were juicy and flavorful. The NY strip (~14oz) slightly better than “the Hawaiian” (~16oz) but smaller in portion and more pricey. The cheeseburger was also delicious (~1/4 pounder) but I would not recommend the crispy chicken. All pictured below. Would definitely come back again.
Nice ambiance and right on the embarcadero. Service was friendly. The Food and Drinks were excelent. Be sure and try the ribs!
This sandwich is always good. I go here in dallas, LA and SF and every location always kills it. The service is A+ and the outdoor seating at this location is great. Also love their margaritas.
Great standby with excellent food, nice service, and a good atmosphere. I prefer to dine at the bar, but the tables are comfortable as well. Consistently good food and fair prices, don't expect haute cuisine, and that's not the point anyway. Bring a date or bring the family, you will enjoy it!
They have the best prime rib sandwich. The bread is baked fresh daily and is full of butter flavor. The au jus dip is satisfying. The best part is the horse radish dip. I don't usually like horse radish but this one is so addicting. Dip the sandwich in the au jus and then dip in the horse radish cream and take a bite and it is heaven. The prime rib meat itself is lean but soft. The bread somehow holds up as well and compliments the rest and is soft and buttery to the bite. Each bite is delicious to the end.
Consistently fantastic. I've been coming to Hillstone for years and have been amazed by how consistent the quality of food and service has been. I normally don't order marinated steaks, but the Hawaiian rib eye is one of a kind and the slaw is the perfect compliment with it's mustard bite and just the right amount of creaminess (not watery at all).Candace was my server today and she was incredible. Kind, helpful, professional, and timely... I really could not ask for more.
Great stylish restaurant with excellent food. Not cheap but you get something out of what you spend.Did have a cheeseburger with fries and my wife the veggie burger. Both excellent and very fresh and tasty.Restaurant was clean and nicely decorated with dimmed lights.
We rang to book for 8 people and then followed up to confirm the next day and were told that they were two separate tables of 4 . We then asked if they could push the tables together as we didn't want to sit separately . We were told that they didn't except reservations for 8 and the tables were bolted to the floor. They had not mentioned this when we rang originally. The gentleman was very rude and we had let all the guests know, so it was a real inconvenience. It was such a shame as we had enjoyed a lovely meal earlier in the week. Quite upsetting
