The wait here is super long. Expect to wait at least an hour for a 2 person party when going for dinner on a weekend. They are super busy so the service can be a little slow but oh man, the food is really good!! About $40 for galbi, which is seasoned deliciously. The banchan is abundant and tasty. Kimchi jigae is awesome as well. They even gave us a steamed egg complimentary to our meal. Overall, a great experience if you're willing to wait and find parking in a busy residential area. Don't block the driveways!

Wow! Amazing Korean food in SF! Loved the galbi which was super flavorful and generous portions. I also loved the bibim nang myeon (spicy cold noodle). The galbitang was well liked by my companions, as well the bibimbap. I thought they had a good variety of banchan and they pack their take out carefully and nicely.

Han Il Kwan is one of the best Korean BBQ restaurant I know. I love specially galbi and all the side dishes here. I will definitely come back for Korean BBQ. Thanks for all the good food!

Very good price and i could tell they are serving original korean taste as most of the customers are korean who live around the town, super yummyyyyy plus i luv how u could refill the side dishes

Great (and free) appetizers! Loved mauen Galbi Jim and tofu soup. Pancakes and rice cake soup were on the bland side for me personally. Service was quick, kinda hard to find parking around but totally worth it

Went here for daughter's birthday. They were very helpful and we enjoyed our meal. The food is plentiful and tasty. Only negative is that we were in the back corner because our party was rather large (8 people). At times, I think they just forgot about us. They are incredibly busy, especially on the weekends. If you are impatient to get what you want, when you want it, I would recommend a different day of the week, and a smaller group so that you can sit at the round family tables (maximum 7 people) and enjoy the fun of the whole BBQ experience ?

We ordered Bulgogi and dumplings. We were three but these plates were more than enough with the sides dishes. They also gave us complimentary soup. Overall, the food was so yummy and the place is kinda big.

Really good Korean food in the avenues of SF.Found the food enjoyable and will return again.Without a doubt their short ribs grilled on the table was an excellent choice. The marinade and spices were just right.Comfort food for a cold or special night out.

My friend recommended this spot as her favorite Korean restaurant in SF. She said it’s the only place her Korean mom will eat at when she visits.It. Did. Not. Disappoint. I ordered the soybean stew which was so so delicious and came out piping hot in the clay pot on a wooden plate. The tofu and broth were delicious and had just the right amount of spicy that had you feeling it but wasn’t causing you to sweat. The little complimentary side dishes were also really good. My favorites were the seasoned acorn jelly (dank sauce), cucumbers and shredded potato.

Pros: Authentic high quality Korean food. Lots of free appetizers. Steaming hot food with good proportions.Cons: it’s pricey
