The best full service butcher/meat market in San Francisco. Not to mention all of the homemade items and imported Italian goods. Staff is super friendly and helpful! I've been a happy customer for over 30 years.
No longer 5 stars, they used to offer extra service like deveining shrimp for me. Not worth the extra price any more.

Wonderful service, meats are very clean and high quality. They also sell breads and wines to complete your meal. The people behind the counters know everything about their cuts so don't hesitate to ask for cooking recommendations and where they're sourced from. The prices are just right for the quality and service; they're actually slightly less expensive than from a grocery store like Safeway. Very nice meat ! Not organic! But has dogs delights
When they say quality meats, they mean it. Ask for Robert, he's one of the best! They give suggestions and recommendations for meal preparations that are very helpful.
Always a pleasure shopping here. Even tho it was 2 days before Thanksgiving and they were slammed, one of the butchers smilingly agreed to make me up a fresh porchetta, taking pork belly, a pork roast, seasoning and tying it for me in about 5 minutes. They make fabulous sandwiches here, too. And, they make their own corned beef, which is also delicious.

Customer service experience: I came in specifically for organ meats and I am SO glad that they actually have a good variety. Not just livers. I think the owner or manager was the one that helped me. He knew everything and gave me solid suggestions. Thank you so much for the quality customer service. I know where to go now for organ meats.
