Very average burritos. Food makers not masked and have an unpleasant attitude, as does the cashier, who is not masked, at all. I’m concerned about the cleanliness of the place.
I ordered Carnitas burrito and the meat was too salty, the staff were rude and slow even whit 6 guys working on the other side. This is the worst mexican food around
Gordo has been my favorite burrito place for… omg.. 30 years. I’ve tried many others, but none have been as good as Gordo.Everything tastes fresh and I love the char on the grilled chicken, which takes the flavors up a notch. Great hot sauce and fresh pico, too.Highly recommend. :)
My oh my... Such HUGE portions.Despite being fast food, this was good! Friendly staff, eager to explain what was in each of the preparations. Tasty food. Ridiculously large portions.Very good!
Great neighborhood spot to grab a burrito for a picnic lunch in the park. Tasty fillings and great chips and guac for a moderate price. Nothing fancy, just good food.
WORST MEXICAN AROUND. Ordered and paid $80 worth of food they have GAVE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE and refuse to refund me or re make food. Got a refund with my bank later on. NEVER AGAIN. Employees are also clueless they do not know where they are
Small tables. Small stools. Carnitas meat was mostly dry & tough. Paper straws. Inaccurate order. Will try a burrito, next time. No parking lot.
This is a place for a quick bite to eat. The green salsa is a little spicy but delicious. The pico de gallo. The pinto/ beans were good ?. The carnitas were not dry. This was a place for after a hike. To get a quick bite.
Gordo has been my nostalgic eats since the 90s. Go to has always been super burrito with carnitas (or pollo) with no beans and extra hot sauce. Comes out to around $8Another one is the quesadilla is delicious the way they do it there it’s not what someone would typically imagine (if Taco Bell was the base)Though all the locations have the exact same menu and pretty similar taste… personally I feel the one on 23rd and clement is the best one despite being the smallest location.Parking in the 9th Ave area also sucks so you’d have to be in the area, take muni, walk or bike. Golden gate park is right there so you can get a burrito to go then walk and eat it in the park.
Fast counter service as good as I remember every time I've been there over the last 15 years.I'm not an SF native but I'm in the area frequently. All ingredients are hot fresh simple and correct. You won't be sorry, if you're at the park on a day trip pop in here for some refueling and you'll be happy.
