The club sandwich is a good deal, plus it’s tasty

Got the mango sago and fried chicken and was very pleased. Affordable, tasty, good portion

Don't fret it is a great spot! Be wary of the crowds if you go on weekends, or just after 6pm weekdays --as there are usually lines and waiting lists, I suggest the Mixed fruit with Mango Sago--especially during October, one of SF's warmest months. Simply refreshing delights and free tea upon walking in the door, I cherished this little, glowing, corner haunt when I lived up the road, now it is a nostalgic place to visit from time to time.

Golden Island Cafe offers an extensive menu of classic Hong Kong style desserts and snacks.I came here late at night on a Sunday evening to catch up with some friends. The staff was very welcoming and we were seated quickly. The interior is well-lit and while seating may not be the most plentiful, it definitely adds to the cozy ambiance of the store. I ordered my classic go-to which is the grapefruit with mango and sago. The dessert was packed full of mango flavor, exactly what I expected it to be (needless to say I enjoyed my dessert). If you're looking for a late-night dessert spot, then Golden Island Cafe should definitely be on your go-to list!

Been here when it was new, was nice and popular with young people. The cafe has deteriorated somewhat and felt the portion has shrunk, makes it too pricey. Oh, service was very slow

Great Hong Kong dessert, friendly staff. I had sesame paste, bubble pool and yummy mango. Will come back for sure.

Mango coconut milk sago!!!

Mango sago with coconut >>>>>Tbh haven't tried anything else here yet but it looks good! Keep an eye out for specials :)

Hong Kong style desserts opened since 1989. Quality is consistent. This is place is better than many of the newly opened HK desserts places. Dun Dan and Dun Lai are made to order. Wait time is at least 15 mins, But they are worth the wait. Sesame Paste is made thick and tasty. Any of the sago with fresh fruit are good especially in a hot summer day. On weekends, there is usual a line. Street parking are not hard to find.

Good Asian dessert and they offer food too!
