The dishes that I tried were phenomenally filled with flavor, jam packed. The rice, hands down, has been the best I’ve tasted thus far as vegan and before I embarked this journey. No 2nd thoughts, I’d visit San Fran just to try them again. Gave it 4 because the Mongolian was a tad bit salty for me. Everything still was good from texture to taste. Satisfied and exquisitely delightful. Golden Era is worth it & brings a signature stamp to evolving vegan.

Wow! Best Vegan Chinese food yet. Just like a top notch american Chinese restaurant but veganized. Perfect balanced flavors in all dishes, wonderful textures, and service! Will be back!

It’s been my favorite vegan restaurant since 2019! I’m really glad they survive the pandemic.I’m not vegan nor vegetarian but this place was my jam and it was my comfort food when I was living in the SF. I loved their Mama’s clay pot and their fried rice! The vegan spam is just so good. It is for sure a spot you don’t wanna miss when you’re visiting SF and if you’re craving for some good and not too expensive vegan Asian food! (Mostly Vietnamese food)Another thing I will recommend is their mushi roll. It’s so good and even the wrap is a thick Asian-style pancake, you don’t feel too heavy after eating it.It’s a vegan place that doesn’t make you feel that you’re eating grass. Highly recommend for people who aren’t vegan but want to eat some vegan food occasionally.
The best Asian vegan food I had so far. I ordered spring rolls and spinach tofu soup and everything was fresh and flavorful. It seems that they use great ingredients. The dishes were also light and healthy, the service was great too. I would eat here very often if I lived in SF!
