Amazing pizza and super friendly staff! We came with a big family and had a large order and he even gave us a complimentary slice!! One person in our family said it was the best pizza she has ever had.

If I could only eat one pizza for the rest of my life, it would be Golden Boy’s pepperoni square slice. It’s perfect in every way.. the right amount of sauce, the melty cheese, and the crust is super crispy when they reheat it for you. And the ratio of the focaccia crust to topping is just superb. Golden Boy never lets me down.Since the pandemic they started selling by the pan and 1/2 pan (Small and Large) in addition to slices and I am absolutely loving it. The small is 4 squares for $13.50 and it’s enough for 2 meals. And they take credit cards now!Never change Golden Boy, ily.

Found this place after searching online but it also appeared as a mention in one of our guide books so we decided to pay it a visit. We got to Golden Boy early evening and knew we were on to a winner from the queue that had formed at the kiosk. We didn’t wait long as the server made short work of the queue and we got to place our order. Although only two of us we were fairly hungry after a busy day in San Francisco and decided to go for a full pepperoni and sausage pizza. The lady serving us was very friendly and after a short wait we were handed a rather large rectangular box and wandered off to eat it whilst still hot. The pizza was perfect. The focaccia base is a perfect compliment to the generous toppings and you can tell that there is a lot of experience gone into the making of what you’re eating. I just wish there was one in the U.K. so I could get my fix sooner. Would definitely recommend this place if in San Francisco.

I have been going to Golden boy for almost 20 years and it is always the same, consistent. Good, fast pizza slices that taste as delicious as they look. My husband stopped and picked up slices for us before he picked us up at the airport after our return from Mexico. Tasted so good!
This is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! The service is quick and the food is delicious. It’s a very unassuming spot with just a window but I knew it was going to be good when there was a line out front. The pepperoni was slightly smoky and super crunchy which I really liked, but nothing can beat the garlic clam pizza. It was super different and unlike any pizza I’ve had before. The garlic and clam is so good and fresh but not overwhelming. I highly recommend it!
Came to this place because it was in Yelp top 100 pizza list as number 14.A little bit disappointed when I know there’s no place to sit and eat. Basically you will have to find a place to eat yourself.Another disappointed thing is that they do not have beers or anything to drink. Fortunately the bar next to it allows you to eat pizza there if you buy drinks from the bar. That saved us. Otherwise I would eat on the street and have no bathroom to use.They basically precooked lots of pizza and heat them after you order them.Based on that, I deduct one star for these inconvenience.
