Excellent. Authentic. Some of the best Japanese curry in SF. Service is warm and friendly. Highly recommend.
This place is downright delicious. I highly recommend the chicken katsu curry plate + a ramen to share for two. The chicken katsu was so juicy and perfectly fried and the curry sauce was mild, almost a little sweet, and was full of comfort. I also had Tan Tan ramen but would probably try a different one next time -- maybe classic miso. The staff was friendly and passionate about their food. The restaurant was also empty so it felt very intimate. Highly recommend!
Best Japanese curry in the city!
The teppan curry is amazing with crispy rice and concentrated curry sauce! Could easily have been a 5 star place in Tokyo.Definitely get it one level hotter than you think. It's mild.
This place is so cute!!! We came in on a Saturday at lunchtime and I was surprised to see no one else in the restaurant ? only two people went in for pickupBut other than that, the ambiance is cute and the place is very simple. The curry was pretty good and it's a one of a kind way to eat it with a stone plate. It was really enjoyable because the curry and rice stayed nice and warm for the whole meal! I think that was the best part.Will definitely come back again
We got our food to-go and the presentation was still great! I've never seen food packed so well for a to-go order. The food was delicious!
Excellent Japanese curry spot!If you dine in, the spectacle and flavour of sizzling teppan curry can't be beat. I got the chicken breast katsu which was quite tender and certainly delicious in the egg-curry sauce.The crispy rice at the bottom of the teppan is also a delight. The only criticism is that the chicken maybe could've been brined before for flavour but that's being picky.Ordered takeout curry rice before and it was really solid, good portions!
Ordered delivery. 2nd time ordering, 2nd time loving it. Quick order processing. Good turn around for a weeknight dinner. I’ve had curry delivered from over 5 places- this is the only one that has the curry and proteins separate so they don’t get soggy during delivery. Both curry & teriyaki chicken packed with care. Both had excellent serving sizes for the price. Bonus lotus chip was delicious. Gyoza was good, just a little burnt. Overall really great for delivery/take out.
Pretty good ramen with some excellent spicy options as well. There is a lot of competition lately and honestly, it's the fact that they are open most of the time that makes it good for me.
Awesome price, excellent service, clearly marked vegan options, but food was fine. Giving four stars because other members of my party loved their food.
