One single Veggie taco was $7.25 - I’ve eaten tacos all over the city and this price is absolutely ridiculous. The tortilla barely seemed heated up and there was rice, beans, guacamole, lettuce on it - no other veggies to justify this cost. I am leaving this review so they can re-evaluate or improve, not to scare off other diners.
Food is mids at best. Our order came out super quick (approximately 3 minutes) which I expect is due to the use of heat lamps. Prices are pretty steep for old food ($15 for a burrito) and there was a precarious odor present in the upstairs eating area. I expect this business to fail in the near future. Or maybe SF just has extremely low standards when it comes to authentic mexican cuisine. Will not be back.
Worst torta Milanesa I’ve ever ate. Absolutely no flavor in the meat and very under cooked. The Cashier and the Cook didn’t even care to fix my order. Another thing upstairs dinning area stinks badly of urine. Don’t waste your time with this place!
Hard to find good elote in SF. - this place has one that is pretty good. Large menu & nice staff. Nearby park great for pickup outside fun.
The margarita was the worst margarita I have ever had. If you squeezed a single slice of lime on a single ice cube it would have been better. It was just a blended bunch of ice. No tequila, no lime, no cointreau, no anything. Ice. $10 for ice. Garbage.
accuracy is not key here i ordered a quesadilla and nachos but i got a quesadilla and regular which is more expensive and a waste of money for the extra food i already knew i wouldn't be able to eat it that's why i didn't order it. on the menu is nachos which come with cheese, beans and salsa while the nachos have the same plus meat. this significantly increase the chances for a misunderstanding in the ordering process in this case in the businesses favor.i think it was done on purpose just to charge me more considering she never asked what meat i wanted, she just added steak.Asking whether the order is to go or to stay is also not really a thing in this city. they didn't ask if i wanted it to go just assumed which would be annoying alone but with the knowledge that I've been dining in at this place everyday for the past two weeks and tipping and all it got me an inaccurate and wasteful order not to mention the fact that the more i eat the food the more i realize its lacking in flavor and messing with my stomach. when i went up to the cashier to ask for the quesadilla which was incredibly greasy to be put on a plate to eat with a fork and knife and she puts it on on wax paper on a plastic plate so i end inadvertently eating wax paper that the cheese stuck too. this place has left a horrible taste in my mouth . street taco across the street three storefronts down has way better food. i was coming here for the price alone but if im gonna be charged for things i dont want ill save more money at street taco
Pico and chips were great. Garlic flour tortilla and steak-shrrimppp was to die for. Will come again
This is a delicious local chain with a solid variety of proteins for both locals and tourists. Basic tacos are always the best way to go as their meats are yummy. California burrito is a favorite among friends. Their plated meals are also super delish. Don't forget to order an agua fresca, they are incredibly refreshing.
Good food. Lots of selections. He fast service
I'm from California where we have real Mexican food. This food is watery, over-salted and bland. Service was friendly.
