Just went for the first time and grabbed something to go. They were so busy and they keep it moving so get your order in and get out the way! Yet in the midst of all that I found the place charming. I’d def come back off the atmosphere alone, and despite running around like crazy the staff was so friendly! Now let’s get to the food: I grabbed the avocado bacon egg and cheese and a coffee. I wanted a simple order to get out the door quick and they had it up to me fast! It was delicious and the coffee hit the spot!
Affordable, simple dining. The menu has just enough selection of traditional sweet and savory breakfast foods, sandwiches, and burgers. Prices are very reasonable - less than $15 for almost everything, so after drink and tip and tax, expect to pay a bit less than $25/person. We were seated quickly and service is prompt and efficient.
It’s a super nice cafe in the nice neighbourhood. They have some tables outside if you want to have outdoor seatings. The service was very nice. A Korean lady was super busy taking care of the tables. The food was great. We had the waffles, what are soooooo good, and some pork chops. Nice!
On weekdays this is a great spot for regulars and locals who've been coming for years to enjoy a consistent menu with classic American breakfast and lunch staples. Weekends sees a busier crowd with lines out the door, thankfully they move quickly especially if you're dressed to eat outside.Nothing fancy here just comfort food on a budget but it hits a sentimental spot with me that has me returning regularly
Very tasty food! Service is incredibly nice and feels like a family owned shop! Brings out the Retro style dining and the theme is so nice!If you're ever in San Francisco come check out Eddie's!
I love this place. The food is consistently great, cheap, and the portions are generous. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is upbeat. Just don’t go in expecting the typical lemon-avocado-aioli-on-brioche SF fanfare - it’s a diner - and Eddie’s is perfect.
I'm from the Fillmore actually my mom and dad meet on this block where the legendary restaurant stands .Great food a rare treat!!!!!Where else can you find Grits at 2pm Love you Eddie .
Love this spot - it's your cute no-frills neighborhood diner. Also a historic spot for the local skateboarding community.Great pricing for the food quality and portions.I would highly recommend timing your arrival esp on weekends; the earlier the better - I've noticed lines usually form between 9:30 - 11 AM.
Eddie's Has Been Around For Many Years. We're On First Name Basis. Be Prepared, You Must Show Your Vaccine Cards, With A Photo ID, To Dine In. Excelente Breakfast and Brunch!! Enjoy ? ?
Do not get the burgers and fries. Both the fries and the beef patty seemed like frozen Costco food. Plus, the breakfast food is definitely something you could make at home in 10 minutes. Not sure why this place has so many good reviews. The traditional diner feel is kinda nice though. Wouldn’t make since to go back with all the good breakfast options in the city.
