This is an amazing place. We had avocado sushi with perfectly ripe and proportioned avocado. The tempura rolls had probably the best tempura I’ve every had. Incredible miso soup, perfectly cooked rice, fresh salmon, and superb proportioned and substantial food make this the best sushi place I’ve ever been.
Good Foods and good services. Only 1 thing to complain about it is the table is too small for 2 people because we ordered too many dishes. Haha ?
Great neighborhood sushi spot. Nice sushi chefs at the bar and staff is super attentive. Agedashi tofu and miso eggplant both great starters. They have reasonably priced nigiri and you can just ask the sushi chefs for a omakase with however many pieces you want/pace yourself as you go. Really solid
Still tasty after all these years, and prices are great relative to many other sushi places in SF. It is, though, cramped inside, and loud. The regulars shout things at each other from across the bar, so not a great place to sit.
Loved my Chirashi! Everything was fresh and delicious. Price was also very reasonable. Must try!
Fantastic flavours, deliciously fresh, easily recommended. We had the sushi deluxe combo with tree appetizers and miso soup which was ample for lunch. The fried mackerel and the fried eggplant were dishes I'd never had before and were amazing but even the soup and gyoza were exceptional. Definitely coming back for dinner!
It really is the best sushi in the Bay area. Everything was fresh, light and absolutely delicious. The different fish we tried were all so fresh, they were buttery.Thank you Steve for maintaining such high standards.
What an amazing meal!! A couple of weeks ago I had the best omakase dining experience of my life at Ebisu and I have eaten at restaurants all over the world. Thank you Eric and the entire team! Go there and tell Eric what you're interested in and savor the moments. Unbelievable! As you can see from my bill, it was so wonderful I went crazy eating... hahahaI have one wish - and it is that nothing ever changes!
Got take-out bento box 5 and deluxe combo. Service was fast and the food was delicious.
My first time eating sushi at a restaurant - Great sushi at a great price. The sushi chef was very skilled and made us some delicious food. The Spider sushi looks great, tastes great as well. Gyoza was great as well! I think it’s hard to go wrong with anything on the menu. Don’t forget to order some hot sake!
