I’ve been a regular at project juice for years, but I think I have to find a new smoothie place :( i’m not sure what happened. The quality has just gone down recently. The last four or five times I’ve been, I’ve ordered my same Bluemoon but each time the smoothie has come out tasting different. Not sure if they’ve changed the recipe or adjusted the ingredients? This last time my smoothie came out the same consistency and color as a blue Gatorade, yet with little taste. I kindly asked the worker if I could get a new one and the second came out just as tasteless as the first. I apologized and asked for the mint chip, thinking maybe the blue moon was missing an ingredient that day, but third time was not a charm. My once also favored mint chip was just as disappointing—watered down and tasteless. If I hadn’t been a loyal customer to this place for years, I wouldn’t have kept trying for a smoothie that was worth the steep $16. I sincerely hope management can get quality under control bc we really do love this place but for now, this local cannot recommended the Project Juice on Chestnut :(
Super disappointed I went out of my way to get to Project Juice on chestnut, 3 times and all 3 times I walked in, the lights were off in the middle of the day and they were cleaning in the back. I had to call out to them and was told they were closed around noon because they don't have enough staff to stay open. I get the pandemic has changed a lot of things, but there are many places that are making it work. I'm tired of this and when I do get there in the morning if they are open the quality of the food and drinks has diminished terribly. I don't think I will go out of my way anymore and just go up to Urban Remedy on Union street instead
Long line this afternoon. I decided it was worth the wait. What was disappointing was that the staff prioritized filling 4 customers orders who were behind me. I can understand the efficiency of making a set of açaí bowls at the same time but was really turned off when I watched them fill the ‘custom order’ of a lady who was 5 people behind me before they started mine.
Inconsistent, often out of food items and doesn’t accept apply pay. When they get it right it is good, but recently 3 out of 4 times I’ve been the items I wanted were out of stock and they couldn’t even transact.
Placed a $35 order ended up eating 1/2 the Acai bowl. Both drinks weren't stomachable. Bagel had rotting microgreens/sprouts. Totally regret this. 2 star because I know they can do better than this. But alas I will NOT be back.
The kids were not trained properly and ended up fixing us some very strange drinks…
Their juices are so good! Can't believe it's also packed with all these goodness

I like healthy food! Clean, fresh, tasty...yes, yes, yes!Project Juice was a food start-up that opened first in Russian Hill neighborhood of San Francisco. The couple who started it lived up the street.I started to taste their blended beverages in a bottle. They were delicious! One of my favorites is the Mint Chip. Now I’m into the Golden Immunity drink. The turmeric counters the environmental free radicals. That’s what we need, isn’t? Stronger immunity systems? The shop also has food! Paleo, gluten free and more. Yeah!Next time I’ll try the acai bowls or avocado toast! Multiple shops in San Francisco and beyond ;)
I liked the place I will go again.
