Bought my birthday cakes here every year for 10 years. It's the same as always when I went back recently and that's a good thing. Of course parking can be a pain but what do you expect in a place that is even more crowded than 30 years ago.
Clerk seems to be courteous. Has some Asian and some Hispanic influenced bakery items.
Prices are great. Bread is fantastic. Pastries have the right amount of sweetness.
Bought a pineapple bread bun which was great for how much it cost. I also bought a mango cake same day which I did not notice had mold until I got home...I suppose the stuff there tastes great if you manage to get it fresh

Great place to go if you’re looking for a cake last minute. They have a good selection of beautifully decorated cakes ready to go. The prices are insanely low for SF!

The Best Chinese Cake I've had in such a long time! I grew up in Chinatown, Los Angeles, and I grew up eating Chinese cakes all my life!Dragon City Bakery Cake was the best ever, custom made the way I wanted! Half banana and half strawberry filling, topped with fresh fruit and outside layered with fresh almonds! Half the price of other more expensive bakeries! My partner and I, literally, gorged the entire 8 inches cake in two days! Yes, it was that scrumptious!Strongly recommend this Bakery to those who appreciate excellent cakes!
Came here to get some sweets for a friend's birthday, and was not disappointed. I was able to stock up on slices of cake and fruit tarts for an affordable price.
