great custard buns! this is the best you can try here, very tasty dough and not too sweet cream.
This place is excellent! If you want some great dim sum this is a must! But get there early as in many great places they get busy and sell out of items sometimes!
This is a really good dim sum place. By far one of the best I've been to in the city. Buns are to die for and their shrimp dishes are really good. Doesn't have that fishy taste to them, super fresh.
A stellar dim sum experience. I went for lunch on a weekday, and the line was out the door. I'm glad I stuck it out because the food was absolutely worth the wait. I ordered a variety of dumplings - shumai, potstickers, chili wontons - and a pork bun. Every single thing was a delight to the senses, and my massive meal ran me less than 20 bucks. I plan to bring my family here when I'm back in a few months. Dim Sum Bistro can't be beat!
Visiting SF and looking to chat siu bao that will remind me of NYC's Hop Shing. Went at 8:15, bunch of people waiting for the baked char siu bao. Lady said the wait is 30 minutes. Went to work and took my pretend smoke break to come back. got my baked char siu bao. This is pretty close to Hop Shing. The bread feeling and sticky top totally reminded me of it. if the filling had a little more sauce I'd say it's a match. Definitely bringing a box back to NYC but not sure if there will be any left after the long flight.
Best dim sum in SF. Shark fin dumpling and deep fried pork puff are the best items. Low prices. No seating. To go only. Closes early, at 4 pm.
Can go wrong with this place, lots to choice from and taste good. Can be quit busy at time.(Aren't good place do?) You can order ahead if you know what you want and can't wait. They are busy so the kitchen has to work hard to keep up the pace on the counter, great price too. Worth the visit, no seating currently, but it's only 2 blocks from St. Peter and Paul church where there are plenty of view and open space. Why not enjoy the view with great food?
Very good food with extremely affordable price! You can only take out, no place to dine in. However, you can go to the VIP cafe shop next door, order the authentic HK tea and enjoy dim sum there. The lady is so nice and kind.
Dim sum heaven! So easy to order however I did get charged for an order but it didn’t go through on their end and I still got charged.. I was able to dispute and receive a refund from credit card.. but nevertheless their food is good.. I must’ve eaten there a few times during my visit..
