I cannot get enough of the food here. I dined in here with a friend and also got food delivered multiple times. My go to place for biryani in SF. I tried Ulavacharu chicken biryani, gongura chicken biryani and boneless chicken biryani so far and they are the best in the city though the quantity to the price ratio is not satisfactory. I also tried podi dosa when I dined in, too good. 10/10 would recommend the place.

Going to Deccan Spice was an amazing experience. Food was on point and service exceeded expectations. The restaurant really presents all the amazing food surrounding Indian culture. Chicken Tikka Masala is one of the dishes I recommend if you’re new to Deccan.

Terrible! pakora all dough no veggies. everything too salty. 'salad' was five 1/4' thick slices of red onion with 25 1/4' disks carrot, no green anything, nothing else. Nothing in curry but sauce, pay extra for even veggies. Terrible overpriced and they served the people seated after us befor they served us

We were late for our dinner and quite happy to see this place open. Dine-in closes at 11pm but they still us have. Takeaway is open until 4am!Pros:1. Available till late2. Decent taste3. Ask for desi-spicy and they are generous on the spice levelCons:1. The interior seating is quite congested. We had Plain Dosa (4), Chicken Chettinadu (4.5), Deccan Sp Biryani (2), and Mango lassi (5).

Hands down best curries in SF, enjoyed the night with a relative of mine, started off with mouth watering appetizers, followed by rich-tasty biryani, would recommend for anyone.

I visited Deccan House in my recent trip to SF. Small space and is clean and very welcoming. Tried Deccan special biryani is my favorite.

Amazing food but sometimes can be spicy! Some of the best biryani I’ve ever had, the chicken was juiciest!

Worst biryani in my life !!!… chicken used is of butter chicken with gravy . Even you guys did not feel it was important to remove the gravy of butter chicken… this is shameful … and I request people to not go for any biryani from the Deccan house, this is my 3rd experience.

Kaju curry and lolly coconut curry was really tasty and I really like their cheese naan as well. We also tried badam milk which is also good

Chicken 555 appetizer was tasty and had cashews as toppings, paneer tikka masala and garlic cheese nan was yummy with right spices and taste, chai masala was good! Good service! A must visit for Indian food while in SF!
