Excellent place to stop for chai, nice variety and a good change from all the coffee shops downtown. The Tiger Spice and Elephant Vanilla chai were full of flavor and you could tell the difference in spice notes for each. Service was quick and the location was very clean - a nice break from the streets of downtown San Francisco.
I got a masala chai and the yogurt pastry. The chai tasted pretty good.
Looking to refill up my coffee container, I swung by Arts District looking for this location. This convenient location still opens during the stay at home order, and the service continues to feel personal and phenomenal. The quick-service frequently cleaned the shop and brought the drink outside to curb for me while we waited. Groundwork Coffee is known for their large dark beans of organic quality, and luckily this place was still stock with freshly roasted batches.
I just moved into the neighborhood and always wanted to try this coffee shop. It sure did not disappoint! Extensive menu of chai and espresso drinks. Will definitely be back to try the boba chai tea
amazing atmosphere and great tasting drinks, and I love to say donate a question of all purchases to help endangered animals
Great food but get off your cell phone
Great coffee (even though it's a chai bar) and delicious sandwich
I voted to give it 5/5 stars but my two friends who were with me voted 4/5 stars so I was overruled. I'm VERY high on weed right now.
Got the dirty chai. Now it's my favourite morning drink.
When doing a random walk down market street in the morning before work the Chai bar caught my eye and I had to stop in. I was enamored with the decor and the friendly wait staff from the beginning. I am a chai fan and not really a coffee fan so it was a welcome sight to see something dedicated to coffees mistreated younger brother. I only did a chai in the morning so I can't speak to the happy hour or bar set up in the evening. However the place is very spacious and the ample seating and bar standing space would lend itself well to this. The prices were all under ten dollars and there was an amazing variety of Chai options. I didn't even know there were that many outside of green tea. There are spicy options and sweet options and the sweetness is indicated on the menu as well. I had the Green Tortoise Chai and it was absolutely delicious. I paid my 5 dollars and had a warm cup of Chai goodness in my handing in about two minutes. The morning crowd wasn't too rushed so you can sit and enjoy the quiet or people watch out of the front windows. It was by far the best Chai I have ever had and I cannot wait to try some of the other flavors.Like many of the others are saying the WIFI could definitely use some love and I am not sure its something you could do consistent work on. But if you are looking to grab a quick Chai without the hustle and bustle of a starbucks this is the place. Where Starbucks feels like a walmart of coffee this is your whole foods of coffee and worth it to stop by when you get the chance.
