We got chicken tandoori biryani and it was delicious! The chicken seekh kabab were good in taste but a bit dry, not juicy at all. The chicken wrap was not the best; the wrap was made of tandoori roti and it was a mouthful and then really very little chicken pieces inside and full of lettuce. Compared to other restaurants who charge minimum $15 per food item, this place has good tasting food and lower prices.

Amazing food with super-friendly staff!

Had a traditional winter breakfast with tea, aloo paranthas, raita and pickle. They were all great. Very friendly and polite staff. Will certainly come back.

This restaurant is a San Francisco hidden gem. Their attention to authentic spicing and technique is underappreciated. Darbar is the only India/Pakistani restaurant in the city that serves multiple versions of Biryani as a staple menu dish, instead of specialty. Lamb, Goat, Tandoori Prawn, Chicken Tikka Biryani. You cannot find it. This restaurant is by far the best Indian food, for the price and authenticity, in the city.Darbar is located right across the street from the overrated, over priced, under hygienic Shalimar.

The owner is so friendly and helpful!! The food is awesome too, and they even have cool murals inside. It’s a win, win, win.

Totally rude behavior with customers. They still didn’t know the customer service

Excellent shish-ka-bob and fragrant and delicious saffron rice. Highly recommend them. Nice owner.

We just moved to the neighborhood and this restaurant has been one of the best places to order Indian food. Owner is very nice and he customizes my order with less oil all the time. Food has authentic taste. If you are in the area and looking for Indian, Pakistani food I would highly recommend this place.

Probably the worst place to ever have indian or pakistani food. Take it from a fellow Indian. We ordered the fish tikka masala, paalak paneer, kadhai chicken, naan, and keema naan. The fish was pathetic, made me wanna vomit on the spot. The paalak paneer was disgustingly stale, and you could tell it was from the freezer. Lastly, the chicken was bland, a concoction of raw masala slobishly put together. We requested for green chutney that just made it worse, making the food taste almost acidic.

Worst Indian food I have ever had in my entire life oh my god do not order from here ?
