There are still improvements to be made since they are still a relatively new restaurant. Their frying time needs some work. I would definitely skip out on the fries because they weren't very crispy or tasty. Some pieces of chicken were fried to a jerky. However, the batter was very delightful. The lady taking my order was also very patient and friendly. Would go again but maybe a few months later.

Really good chicken, chicken sandwiches, and fries. One of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. The sauces really take it over the top. The sweet garlic is an absolute winner and chili garlic is very good but not very spicy. Will be frequenting dak chicken moving forward.

Had half fried chicken and half gochujang yangneum chicken. Both were very big portions! But, batter was way too thick and the chicken was a bit dry looking like it had been fried hours ago.

The batter is way too thick, and the fries are clearly straight out of a bag and undercooked.

Great value for the food you get (quantity and quality)! We ordered the fried chicken sandwich (sweet garlic), half order of original (8 pieces), and another half order of yang nyum (8 pieces, sweet and spicy). More than enough food, had leftovers for later as well. The main thing is, the fried chicken in general is not heavy, not oily, and not salty. Thick, crunchy batter. Chicken was still fairly moist underneath. The sandwich had pickled radish (i think?) that was interesting and provided a little tang. Overall, would recommend. We look forward to coming back and trying out the other flavors on the menu

First time here and I ordered the fried chicken sandwiches (original and sweet garlic) and garlic fries to go. The lady who took my order was really friendly and welcoming. The food was okay, nothing amazing, but I may still come back to try the fried chicken.[Fried Chicken Sandwiches]The sandwiches come with sliced and pickled radish, romaine lettuce, and mayo. With the original, there wasn't much flavor. The other one was fine since the chicken was tossed in the sweet garlic sauce. I was disappointed with the fried chicken because there was barely any chicken and a lot of batter. It was like they cut a small piece of chicken and then butterflied it. This resulted in a thin piece of barely moist chicken that had a bunch of crispy batter on the outside. Also, the chicken was only enough for 2/3rds of the bun (consistent for both sandwiches too) so there was a whole 1/3 that only had bun, lettuce, and mayo. I would definitely skip the sandwiches - you're better off going to Popeyes for a chicken sandwich.[Garlic Fries]For $8.99, I was expecting a lot more in terms of quality, quantity, and flavor. I ordered mine with extra garlic and there still wasn't enough garlic. Fries come in a small little box and are tossed with salted fried garlic bits that fall to the bottom. Overall, just tasted like regular fries because there's not enough garlic and whatever garlic is used doesn't coat the fries. These do not qualify to be called garlic fries unfortunately and I would definitely skip these as well.

Best Korean Fried Chicken in Bay Area. Highly recommended.

Got the lunch special 5 pieces chicken and might be my new New favorite Korean fried chicken. You walk right in to the back and order with very nice lady.Super bullish on this new joint which is still in their soft opening.

Awesome Korean fried chicken. Little bit too much breading.

Authentic Korean Chicken! The fried chicken batter is really crispy and not salty like many other fried chicken places. The sauces are very likely the ones I tasted in Korea or maybe better than some of the franchises..The owner recommended to taste the Gochujang Rose Chicken and Sweet Garlic Chicken. They are both NOT SPICY and tasted awesome! The sauces are more sweeter than what it looks, so dont be afraid of tasting it :)P.S. they are only doing take-out for now
