Very nice and tasty food for a very reasonable price! The menu us a bit limited but very good. I had the paneer tika masala (vegetarian) which was great! The place might be crowded during dinner time, we waited around 10-15 minutes to get a table.
It’s a small place with a limited menu, if what they cook is exceptional. The flavor profile of the food is exactly what it should be. Wonderful flavors, good portion size, and a sense of satisfaction when finished.
I ordered Kadahi paneer (was on special menu inside restaurant) and garlic naan. The kadahi paneer (attached pics) was very oily and not good in taste at all. Garlic naan was dry, but okay
Looking for Indian cuisine close to our hotel and this popped up in the search. Small dining area and self service but the food was excellent! Authentic flavors and really great cuts of meat used in all of the dishes we tried. Had curry, tikka masala, and biryani which was a bit spicy for me but my son and husband loved it. First time having cherry naan and it was wonderful. Friendly staff and very quick service.
Cozy Indian restaurant. Try them and they wot let you down.Very delicious foods.what ever they have in the menu is very good.Thank you guys and keep up the good work.??????
Ordered chicken biryani, lamb vindaloo, seekh kebab. Loves the chicken biryani and the seekh kebab. In fact, went back the next day and ordered more biryani and kebabs. The lamb vindaloo was okay. What I didn't like:1. The prices on their online website menus weren't up to date. The website says $12.99 for the chicken biryani but they charged $14.99 both times.2. Every other place that I've eaten biryani, it was served with raita but this place charges $4 for raita. Wth!2. This place is self service. You place your order, pickup your water and glasses and silverware from a separate counter, and collect your food when it's ready. I would expect a little more.
Despite what other say on TA there is NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED in this restaurant. We asked the staff if we could bring in our own and we were told no, they don’t allow alcohol in the restaurant. So we didn’t stay.
We ordered lamb Biriyani and compare like other Indian restaurants it tastes really good. I recommend that dish, it was mixed up with aachar that gives good flavor on Biriyani also there is good quantity of meat and Rice.
Wow! The price for this much quantity and quality for this type of food in San Francisco is a steal. The naan is freshly made. Are you serious! And it’s only $2. Just take my money haha. Maybe they are compensating for the lack of parking. Can’t forget also the 2 dollar that is just waiting for you to be enjoyed on a cold day in the city (almost everyday)
The food was absolutely fantastic. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The portions were excellent and the prices were more than fair. A little off the beaten path from tourist destinations, but well worth a little extra walking. If I lived around here, I would be eating at Curry Leaf all the time.
