Delicious food, great presentation & all around superb first visit! From the moment I walked into the restaurant I felt at home! Great service, super cute decor & the owner (Susan) is a total gem! I will come back for the food & her magnetic personality! I cannot recommend this place enough!
The food is very authentic and delicious, especially the momo! The people are very sweet. Only downside is they don’t have traditional chiya, but their food more than made up for it. I highly recommend Cuisine of Nepal!
Amazing from start to finish! Excellent service. Excellent food. The owner/chef stopped by to make sure our dishes were to our liking. Who takes the time to do this anymore? You can tell they care about their customers and quality of food. Will be back with more friends ❤️?
Recommend but the donut holes at the dessert course were disappointingly small
The cashew curry is so delicious. The wine list is limited but a good solid choices for wine with food. We had a few different appetizers as well that could easily be a meal. Everything was very tasty!
Really great cosy place for authentic Nepalese food in SF. The store owners are incredibly nice and welcoming. Parking might be available more easily on the street next to the store or a couple of blocks down. My pick of the treat was the steamed Himalayan momos we had!
Food: 4/5Service: N/AAmbiance: N/AOverall: It's a good choice if you want something different for take out.The extended review...Food:Basil Lamb Combo - 4/5 - The good thing about this is you get a complete meal and tasty things to try. There were lentils and veggies that came with the dish that were very flavorful. Add some rice and naan and you are good to go. The basil lamb itself was very fragrant and I enjoyed it very much.Service: N/A - I did take out!Ambiance: N/A - I did take out!
The food here is honestly so delicious and compares to the food that I had in Kathmandu. Not the best photo, but if you’re a vegan this is the first place that actually does a cream curry, compared to the Punjabi restaurants that have 10% vegan food. I digress. For our vegan meal we ordered the veggie momos, they’re SO good. And then we ordered the #9 Kukhurako Ledo - Chicken Cashew Cream Curry.Obviously the dish comes with chicken so you need to request to substitute the chicken with tofu, and make sure that they use a coconut cream instead of regular cream. I actually ordered one to go so I can have it during my WFH week. :)Also make sure to not order the naan, as it usually is made with yoghurt. If they have roti, get that — and if not … just double up on rice.I think you’ll truly appreciate this place, the food is great, and if you’re vegan - you’ve hit the jackpot.
The 9 year old I was with says "It's just so good that it the naan it's so good and everything that is literally that they have is so good, bye!"I highly agree and recommend. Everything was delicious! The salmon curry, eggplant curry, chicken curry, momo dumplings!
Exceptional food and the service was SO nice. They checked on us many times and made sure we were enjoying the food. The soup dumplings and chicken cashew curry were unbelievable. Will be going here regularly!
