Wonderful experience at this place as they try to accommodate dietary needs such as vegetarian. The sandwiches, scones and desserts are very tasty and filling. We thought the tea and food may not fill us for lunch but we had to box some home. You could order for two and it can be shared with 3 people.

I love this place more than I can say for their affordable coffee and amazing staff, but I must say I have been very disappointed in their coffee as of late. I go there every single day and I've recently noticed that the coffee just tastes like warm milk. Not sure if they are trying to save on the coffee beans, but it's made my morning coffee run quite sad. Also not sure why the swapped out the chai for something less spicy. I'm only writing this review in hopes that the Groundworks higher ups know that it's not the prices or the employees, it's the actual coffee that is my big issue as of late.

One of the best value afternoon tea experiences you'll find in the city, though I personally was not wowed by the food. They are able to accommodate gluten free and dairy free (though some of their offerings do have baked in butter). They try to double you up on sweets if they can't make a certain item gluten free or dairy free though my gluten free friend did seem to have less food than me and my other friend. Unfortunately all 3 of our teas had tea leaves when we poured them into our cups, which is something I've rarely seen before at these kinds of establishments. No outdoor seating, but they have high ceilings and try to seat guests further apart. Nice touch with the London memorabilia on the table. Service was excellent and staff were very polite.

This place is consistently superb. The owner guy is always friendly to his customers. Today he even offered corns he had just made! We got three bags this time (Columbia, Costa Rica, and Indian). Indian is our favorite so far. The name represents the store very well since they do freshly roast the coffee beans.

Cute place in Japan Town to get afternoon tea. Make sure you make a reservation, it's very rare to be able to just walk in.We got one person afternoon tea thingy, and chicken pot pie. The chicken pot pie was delish. The stuff on the afternoon tea snacks were good as well. Didn't like the sweets much (don't like those standard sweets in general), but the other snacks were good. The bite size sandwiches were tasty.Though whenever we come to this place again, we will probably just order a la carte so that we only get what we like.

I went here to get tea, by myself, since I was visiting the area. Super cute! A little on the higher side for the tea for one, but you're really paying for the variety of food (i was stuffed after!), cute atmosphere, and the kind service.

They do a lovely afternoon tea, with a vegetarian option. The mini quiches are the best. My kids love the sausage rolls. A really cute place for a fancy lunch.

Great place, good coffee and my go to Hong Kong waffle place. Very homey feel to this place, owner is very nice. Outdoor and indoor seating available and not to crowded yet, so take advantage for quiet work and study location now.

I came here for my daughter’s 9th birthday and it was nothing short of amazing! The atmosphere was so welcoming, awesome food and service. We will definitely be returning for more tea time and yummy treats. Thank you all so much for the wonderful experience and service!

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and we both ADORED this place! They were very accommodating of vegetarian diets and every single food item was absolutely delicious. I would sell my soul to be able to eat their crumpets every day.
