I loved this place. First the prices are incredibly reasonable. In LA, we definitely pay more for a very similar concept. The cookies are fairly big and they definitely give you a huge scoop of ice cream. The number of different flavors of ice creams and cookies made my decision tough and the option to add toppings meant it took me twice as long to decide what to get. The staff was very friendly and patient and let me try as many ice creams flavors as I wanted. If I'm ever back in San Francisco, I will definitely be going back! I hope they open one in LA soon!
Ordered thru CREAM website around 530pm, said for a 620pm delivery. Around 630pm driver calls me says there is not an order, says the employee has turned away 2 other drivers as well. I call the store and an employee says she has now turned away 3 drivers because there is no order . I ask her to double check please ??, and sure enough less than 2 mins later she’s had my order the whole time just didn’t make it !!Says she’ll send it out soon . Calls me 10 mins later to tell me she doesn’t have few items I ordered, there in the oven . I called her back 3 mins later and my order is out for delivery …… normally I love CREAM but this has been traumatizing , it’s now 708 cookies areNot cooked all the way (really doughy) ice cream all the way melted , gonna have. To pop them in freezer for another day . There goes ice cream idea for today ?☹️
Visited here for the first time and stopped in to try. Worker asked us what we wanted and we ordered milkshakes. She told us that "we aint doing that anymore. That was a special online." even thou milkshakes were clearly on the menu. After seeing someone in the store WITH a milkshake she was questioned again. At that point she said "nah, we don't make them after 9." How convenient,.....it was 9:01p. I get no one really wants to work anymore. But come on, be better.
I had ordered a cookie sandwich on door dash and this is what I got. Very dissapointed and will not be ordering here again :(
Got a half dozen cookies last night they were amazing and the milkshake I got was fantastic highly recommend it
CREAM rules everything around Making-Cookie-Sandwiches. I hadn’t had a gluten free cookie sandwich in 10+ years and it was a near religious experience. The cookies were far better than I was expecting, the ice cream scoops were far thicker than I was expecting, the price ($8) was, for SF standards, far cheaper than I was expecting. Gluten free cookies were only .50c more than the non gf. My non-celiac group was totally impartial on the sandwiches (too grainy, too sweet, too bland) but they haven’t been in a decades long cookie-sandwich drought, so that’s on them.If you’re gluten free for any reason, come here. The scoopers weren’t thrilled to be there, but it was 10pm on a Tuesday or something, so I don’t blame them.
They specialize in ice cream sandwiches and have interesting flavours. Recommend the rocky road which had pretty big chunks of marshmallow and made for a tasty cold treat.
Went on 2/12 and it was awful! The workers clearly enjoyed each other but were not exactly excited to help customers. The real issue was the ice cream, it was gritty. Almost $20 literally in the trash because it was so gross we threw it away.
I got the Oreo cookie milkshake expecting to get a thick ice cream cookie regular milkshake INSTEAD and it tasted like watered down melted ice cream milk and had the consistency/texture of a V8 drink.
This was our first time in San Francisco and heard this place was delicious, so we had to check it out. We walked in to a very angry employee. She didn't greet us at all, ignored us as she continued to make a to go order. When she finally took our order she was not friendly. At one point she even jumped the counter to slam open the windows. We thought we were under attack!!! In the end Blue Bunny ice cream tastes better so it was a wasted trip.
