I’ve lived in the neighborhood for almost ten years, and Comstock just gets better and better. It’s as good a place to post up with a book as it is to bring a few friends, and the burger is so damn delicious. I love the live jazz & piano music and especially that it’s played from the loft - never too loud to hear your friends. Shout out to the bartenders that put an extra cherry in my cherry bounce. We’re lucky to have them here.
Very cool place, slightly full when we walked in but there was space at the counter. Very nice cocktails. Only sad thing is that staff wasn't really welcoming and despite the cartel of happy our outside on the check was everything full price.
Not a good cocktail bar at all. More of a young person crowded I think i know what a proper cocktail is. If you are over 45 and have money avoid this bar like the plague.Oh, one more review. ..Staff stinks. A l9t of anger. Slowness. General apathy. Horrible. Fire them all and rehire is my advise to the owners.

Just randomly walked by and decided to give it a try and it's awesome. Most of the stars goes to our bartender Kent, now he's my favorite bartender in San Francisco. We actually ordered some cocktails not on the menu, instead of giving us the most easy Margarita, Kent actually made us 3 different kinds of tequila which is rarely to see on a bar menu. And it's tasty.Food is surprisingly good as well. Can't wait to go back to try the caviar bite.And the uniforms of the style somehow made us feel like London in a short momentNow it's my favorite bar in SF.
We stumble upon this classic looking bar while strolling along North Beach / Chinatown. And now it becomes our favorite bar.The bartender Kent is a super skillful mixologist. Tell him what you feel like, and he will make you a delicious drink that is both surprising and delightful.The food was also excellent. The caviar bite is totally out of this world even though it's a $10 bite. Most importantly the vibe is totally cool. The classic and historic look of this bar totally bring you back to the 1900s.We will definitely come back again and would highly recommend it.
This is one of my favorite bars in San Francisco. It’s really special, because this saloon has been in operation for over 100 years and the interior has been meticulously kept and restored. They have live music, delish cocktails, and while I haven’t eaten here yet — the food looks really good.

Hands down, the quintessential classic cocktail bar that feels like stepping back in time. The drinks are meticulously prepared and the fare is the perfect accompaniment. And did I mention they do free lunch on Fridays with the purchase of 2 beverages. Come on by on Friday, I’m usually at the bar dining and having the best time!
