The food is made in front of you, very good products (very spicy be aware) and quantity ! We took two noodle soup that were excellent

The noodles and lamb skewer flavor are good, portions not so great considering it’s on the edge of Chinatown. Noodles had about 2-3 pcs of lean meat with other beef parts. Lamb skewers are very small at $10 for 4-5. Overall wouldn’t go out of my way but worth trying.

Our favorite place in SF when we visited previously so we had to make a stop!Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Braised pork intestine noodle soup and spicy beef noodle soup. Both came with a generous amount of noodles and cabbage. Slightly disappointed that it wasn't bok choy instead but still had the slight sweetness from cabbage. Layer of chili oil that definitely gave it a kick. The broth is earthy and strongly flavored without relying on saltiness. The proteins are melt in your mouth soft which is surprising with intestine since it can get chewy. The generous chunks of beef with layers of fat, skin, and meat whic balances each other so well. It absorbs the taste of the soup as wellAmbience: N/A - ordered food to go but it always feels like a cozy placeService: 5/5 - quick, efficient, and to the pointValue for price: 5/5 - generous serving size (in all aspects) and delicious food. What else needs to be said?

This restaurant was a great surprise !Located at the entrance of China town, do not let its appearance drag you away from it. You will find some of the best Chinese soup you’ll ever have, alongside with friendly service :)Don’t miss it !!

When spicy noodle cravings strike, I loiter around china town, trying to find dan dan noodles and that elusive sichuan peppercorn (did you know it was once banned?)Well, CQXM stands in a line of proud chinese restaurants on Kearny, and it's less than a block from Z&Y, another top spot for spiced-up food. The whole corner feels historic, grid-iron Cafe Zoetrope right across, Kearny's steep ascent, Columbus St cutting its way through, Transamerica pyramid. Expectations are somewhat high.I opted for the dry Wuhan noodles (minus the soup), and my immediate reaction was one of disappointment, it felt more salty than spicy. I asked for a side of the sichuan chili oil, got more than a side, and dunked most of it into my noodles. The result could be put on a shirt with the caption 'No regrets'. Perhaps they should offer this version on the menu, an extra spicy and numbing noodle dish for the ones willing to try.Makes me wanna go to Chongqing one day.

I was looking forward to a great bowl of noodles for lunch. I ordered the Chongqing Xiao Mian or in English Chongqing numbing spicy noodle. I was looking forward to some great ma la, which the Sichuan kitchen is famous for. Unfortunately the bowl of noodles came up short, lacked totally the numbing effect although the spice level was there. The broth did lack depth and flavor, whereas the noodles were good. Service level was good.

One of my favorite lunch spots in SF CT. Fast and friendly service. Big bowl ? of hot ? beef noodle soup is really the best. Highly recommended for people who like spicy beef noodle soup. The restaurant accepts cash and credit card ???

The food is deserving of five stars, the dining room a little rustic. We are here from Central Florida for just one night, and I had to try a little of Chinatown. I had spicy noodles with braised pork intestine, really good. My wife had a beef noodle soup, looked great. I ordered an appetizer of cold tripe and sliced beef in a spicy chili sauce, really nice too. The portions are huge, we could not eat it all, well I ate up mine! Very reasonable prices.

I liked both the food and the atmosphere. However, what was regrettable was that 18-20% of tips were written below the bill to make it easier to calculate, but it was set higher than the actual amount. Don't believe the tips already written on the bill and pay by yourself.

Best Chinese I had when in SF. I came here two nights in a row and got the same meal Spicy Beef Noodle Soup and onion pancake. Great value and just an amazing dish No need to stand on a line at House of Nanking...ate there also Would definitely go back every time in SF
