Popular spot for brunch and dinner on the weekend. Great outdoor seating, and service is really good.Food was good, but didn't seem as hot as it should've when it arrived at our table. Would come back for another meal.

A must try in SF! Absolutely loved all the dishes here! Amazing variety in the menu. Staff was very friendly and the service was great! Our favorite dishes were the roasted chicken and the mushrooms crepe.

We can't say enough good things about Chez Maman West. We sat outside to enjoy a romantic dinner for our 25th anniversary. The waiter was very pleasant and attentive. The food was magnificent and just the right amount to make the dinner enjoyable. Kudos to the chef and staff. Highly recommended.

Hayes and Gough is such a hot bed for French cuisine. Chez Maman fits right into this busy intersection.Parking can be exceptionally difficult past 5PM, but there is a paring garage nearby, albeit it generally has a flat fee dependent on events. Two things I'd absolutely recommend is the escargot and the veal, two delicacies that I wish was more available in the East Bay. Veal was tender and the mushroom gravy was hearty. Escargot on Acme bread was just a great way to get your appetite going.

We had the dinner there after the show at SF symphony on 2/13/2022. The food was quite good. The blue cheese salad is awesome. You would love it. The the main dishes are good too. We had the outdoor seating. It’s nice, but would be a little cold and crowded in a cold weather and busy hour if you mind, FYI.

My table of five dined outside on a Friday night and we each ordered a different entree. Duck confit and the chicken were tasty but other dishes were a miss. The prime NY steak was cooked to order but dried out. Other Fish dishes were blah and not exciting.Pleasant wait staff and environment.3 stars.

Chez Maman never fails us. This is one of our favorite spots for everyday French food that is both authentic and delicious. We have tried their sister restaurant Chez Maman East, I love it equally well. And the service is also excellent. Best of all it is very decently priced and won't break your wallet. We highly recommend it.

I was thrilled to see escargot on the menu for lunch and so that’s what I ordered with a glass of white wine from Corsica. The wine was truly delicious. But the escargot didn’t have much flavor and were mushy instead of firm. I really like escargot and I’ve had it all over the world and I guess this is about the worst I’ve ever had. It comes six to an order and I only ate four. I really liked the place though and the staff was great and the service was quick and I guess I would come back to try something else

Taking a star off because the eggs benedict were very cold- extremely disappointing. Cheese was all congealed. Otherwise the food was good. Were there for brunch and had the Nicoise salad and Lemon Ricotta pancakes. Nice amount of outdoor seating- the inside itself is quite small. Get there early- they open at 10:30 for brunch and fill up quickly. They had a whiteboard so you could add yourself to the list which was convenient. Service was excellent and very friendly and attentive. Would have been four stars if not for the cold eggs.

Amazing food, amazing service, and amazing atmosphere. The owner and staff really care about your experience and go above and beyond to make sure you have a good time. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, but make sure you get the escargot and the bread, and dip the bread in the garlic sauce that comes with the escargot. Everyone needs to taste that. Please give them your business especially during this time with COVID. You will for sure have an amazing time.
