This is a very quaint restaurant. We sat on the patio which is located in the alley behind the building. It is covered and has space heaters, so it was comfortable. My family and I enjoyed this place and would return if back in SF. Food was amazing and service was great. They have an extensive wine list and have many great menu offerings for vegetarians too.
When I want consistently excellent Italian food it is Tiramisu that I regularly go.

Four of us had dinner, we got a couple of appetizers and everyone had pasta entrees. It was all delicious (even the bread), the service was good and very friendly, and the atmosphere was nice and authentic. We will definitely make another visit during our trip!
This place is more than an amazing Italian restaurant, it is a full experience. From the moment you enter you are treated like family, before you know it the wine is flowing, the stories get told and the food, oh my, you are in for a treat. Unique dishes on the menu really showcase the talent in the kitchen, a little something for everyone. Stay for the dessert, the cheesecake, the bombolinis, and of course the tiramisu are to die for. You’re gonna love it.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in SF. Sort of an old timey ambiance with excellent food. Not at all stuffy like some SF places. Try it.
If you’re in San Francisco and you want an excellent pizza, and I mean, excellent Italian pizza, this is it. That said my wife enjoyed a chicken dish and my kids (18 and 15) a couple of pasta dishes. All outstanding. Great service, great atmosphere. Can’t fault at all.
