Visiting the City for vacation and stumbled upon this restaurant in The Castro. Found the atmosphere cozy and the staff friendly. The lamb risotto flavors were amazing and really enjoyed the Moroccan Chicken was excellent too. Stick with the mild versions of both unless you like really spicy food. Prices were more than fair.
This was fantastic. I have walked by this place for years (shame on me). Finally I had an out of town guest and be I wanted to try something new to me. My lamb risotto (spicy) was perfect. Full of flavor. Tender lamb. Firm but moist texture. The beef stew was delicious. Rich and complex. I hope to replicate those flavors. The sangria was easily the best I’ve ever had. Bold and fruity without being sweet. And the fried banana was a fantastic cap to a great dinner. Attentive and knowledgeable staff. Thanks to everyone.
This is one of my favorite places to eat since I've moved to The Bay Area. The food is always good. My favorite 2 items are the Fire cracker chicken appetizers and the Spicy Chicken Pasta. If you've not visited and tried that pasta, it is a must!!!
Omg this place is a jewel in the desert. Food is absolutely perfect, first time experience here and I wanted to go again hit had to return home. I definitely will return here. Service had been spot on and very polite workers and food was oh so damn good.
The boyfriend and I got numerous recommendations to stop here on our little spring break vacation. We love San Fransisco and always ask locals where to go.We sit down and I was recommended the spicy chicken pasta (which I ordered, thanks to the really friendly waitstaff) and my boyfriend got the mystique burger; I also ordered the sangria.The pasta was so good I could eat it every day; a transformative experience. I left that restaurant knowing that I just had one of the best pasta dishes in my life so far that I must have experienced Christ. My boyfriend enjoyed the burger too!10/10, thanks for the great food.
Via the recommendations of the staff.. Spicy Chicken Pasta (can't remember actual name of dish)was on point. Flavorful and you can choose your temperature. I enjoy spicy. Delicious. Also ordered BLT w/avocado and two Bacon Cheeseburgers. Both additional entrées were also very tasty.
Great location, warm staff and good food. We order steaks and burgers and everything was perfect! Fair prices and good coffee.
