Amazing experience. Hostess/waitress Raechel was very hospitable and attentive to us without being overbearing. The food was absolutely great, and served in a traditional way. Would definitely recommend to a first time eater of that style of food.
Taste good. Higher price and lower quantity than East Bay. Other places have higher variety of veg on the combos.
The food is good. The injera is mediocre it seems to be mostly wheat and gets soggy and tears easier then real injera but I've only seen real injera at one ethiopian restaurant. They don't carry Ethiopian honey wine. Some of the food was cold as if it was taken from a fridge and microwaved this is the main complaint, can't serve a dish of half warm food and get a 4 star review ...
Vegetarian platter is delicious! Highly recommend. Restaurant has a nice, cozy vibe. A welcome respite from the trendy spots on Valencia.Definitely recommend stopping by!
Tried Ethiopian food for the first time and loved it. Had a 3 person shared meal and qty was descent with multiple lentil portions.
One of our favorite places to go and have a long delicious dinner. Get the mushroom chicken!
One of my favorite places to eat in SF. The food is so so good! It’s perfectly flavored and so satisfying. I love the staff, it’s family owned/run, before the pandemic they basically memorize our order cause we came in so often. They may feel a bit “slower” than other restaurants you might be use too but that’s part of the experience, feels more like dinner with the family <3
Great vegetarian food. We had the platter for 4 and everything was really good, especially the mushrooms. There service was a bit slow and I was surprised they charged extra for more injera.
The Veggie Platter was amazing
Has maybe become my fave cuisine
