Walked down to try Cafe Bellini for the first time. I ordered their chicken strips and fries only to be eating raw chicken. I took my food to the counter and was offered something else, no apology. I requested my money back , which they agreed, I will not return.
Burger was delicious
Had to dump the fries as it was dripping with oil !
Great comfort food. Large slices of pizza! Friendly staff.
Not bad if you’re in the area
Ordered the cheeseburger combo with fries, nice size patty with all the toppings and their special sauce
The coffee is great...the staff not so much.
I ordered a piece of pizza, was totally cold. I told the cashier that she might need to check her oven to make sure the oven is still working since another lady also complaints that her pizza was cold. The cashier gave me ugly look and does not want to listen. I think this cashier is the reason causing this business extremely slow.
The avocado and alfalfa sprout sandwich with mint yogurt chutney and pepper jack cheese on Dutch crunch bread is the best vegetarian sandwich in the city!
If you are visiting a patient or going to an appointment at UCSF, there's a food court across from the UCSF Medical Center and 1 of 3 places in the food court is Cafe Bellini. I ate there twice while Dude was in the hospital for two days. The first time I ordered the burger with French fries and a soda combo which is about $10 plus and it was enjoyable with Niman Ranch beef and they give you plenty of French fries! Second time, I had a turkey, avocado and bacon sandwich on dutch crunch bread. It was a big sandwich for around $8 plus but I should have said light on the mayo as it was little soggy. But it was tasty and filling.
