literally no food is ever going to top how good this philly cheesesteak was (got the smaller one and it was so much food wow) love y'all
It’s definitely hard to mess up a Philly Cheesesteak, that doesn’t mean it’s impossible though. I’ve had some pretty awful ones….Busters is NOT one of them. The meat to cheese ratio is perfect. The bread is soft & toasted just right.Although the prices are a bit high, the portions are pretty decent and remember you are in San Francisco and everything is more expensive..All in all, it’s a perfect late night fix.
Super good cheesesteak and fries. The meat was well cooked, and they didn't skimp on the meat or cheese.
Smack dab right where I grew up nice area great scenery small joint nothing to speak of food was decent but the surrounding area is what makes it you're half a block from Caffe Trieste is across the street from the French Church Columbus and Vallejo how can you go wrong? The king of North Beach
The best cheeseteak shop is usually just the one in the corner nearest to you.Buster's is a great late night spot, when you're fiending after drinks. It's simple and straightforward. You walk in off the block, you order a large. Why a large? Cause why wouldn't you when it's literally like a $1.00 - $1.50 more? Boom, the griddle heats up and the meat hisses. Couple minutes in, it's out. Slather on some of their garlic sauce, and it's a meal or two depending on how hungry you are.Best thing about this place is that they're open late and they're open during holidays. Even Christmas Eve. Tip the good people, feed that hunger, and you're back out to finish your night.
Simple menu. Ordered the mushroom cheese steak with the wiz, and while it was delicious, it doesn't quite compare to Jersey Joe's cheese steak in San Carlos, in my opinion. Overall, it's still pretty good.
It was so yummy and hot and the man that took care of my order was amazingly sweet
My cousin G. was in town after defecting to the Lonestar state and we still love him despite that decision and I decided to join him and some friends for a night of bar hopping in this post COVID city life. It was nice to be out again and breathe the crisp cold air of the city. But as nice as it was to be in bars without crowds, it all felt... Empty. Less lively. Less spirited. Nevertheless, good to be with family and friends. Anyhow... Buster's. A little tipsy, a lotta hungry we made our way in here after jumping out of a hotel we pondered eating at by getting a table and then deciding to bail. This place is no frills, open late, and it was jumping. I've always loved cheese steak so I ordered the classic with provolone, and onions. Large of course. I can't truly tell you how good it was because a buzzed mind thinks everything tastes good. I love it when the cheese stretches in your cheese steak. Doesn't matter how good this place may or may not be for cheese steak. The line of customers tells me this place must be good. My intoxicated memory gives this place 5 stars. Great place to soak up that alcohol late at night in the city!
BUSTERS needs customer service oriented people the woman had a hicky on her neck as if it was a badge of honor and attitude. Our sandwiches not enough sauce we order to cheese steak sandwichesCould not tell which was large or small. They were not wearing masks or hair nets. Found a hair in my sandwich tray didn't tell them because of confrontation is not what I want on a Saturday during fleet week.
Great late at night food stop.
