Lovely spot for Burmese food. We ordered a bunch of different meals to be shared with our group, but a few favorites of mine were the tea leaf salad and the platha & dip. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. A great experience overall.

Mango chicken and coconut rice are something to die for. Ambience of this place is amazing. Good crowd to keep the place lively on a Thursday evening. Burmese samosa are smooth with the drinks.Try to get reservation

Shan noodles with chicken, and deep fried whole fish were delicious. Would order again. The deep fried battered chicken chunks and tofu not so much.We appreciate that each dish came with separate serving utensils, that isn't always the case at Asian eateries. So if you are sharing with friends and dread the accidental double dip, fear not.Shan noodles were mixed for us table side, and lemon squeezed for us. It was a great punchy mix of bright bold flavors. The pickled greens were funky and pungent, when mixed up with the fresh greens, lemon juice, etc. It all comes together. The whole fish was fried beautifully. Squeezing the giant whole lemon chunk left our fingers sticky from the sauce it had been drizzled with. Would have liked it to be wedged for easier squeezing. We liked that the fish wasn't drowning in the sweet sauce and only the lower half near the tail had sauce. The upper part near the head was mostly dry. This suited us fine but if you like more saucy, then you can always use the serving spoon to scoop extra sauce from bottom of plate and drizzle. The tofu was interesting, well fried so it was crisp, not greasy, like fried tofu can be. The inside was indeed soft like the menu described. It is different from regular (your average firm Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, taiwanese, Chinese etc. tofu) tofu, has a sour smell and taste kind of like slightly spoiled regular tofu, but with a mashed potato texture. The chicken chunks had a warmed over odor and flavor that I could not stomach, but if you aren't sensitive to that you may like the sticky sweet General Tso type sauce. Batter was too thick for my liking but if you like hush puppies and bready items, you may like this.Note for people with food allergies: The older male server was very communicative and proactive regarding possibility of cross contamination. Other young female server looked like she didn't want to be there, made a face when asked for the menu, and was the opposite of the male server in every way.If you have a mango allergy, they do store mango together with other produce, and use the same cutting board and wok. We took a chance knowing I may get probably a slight case of hives (in the Mission and really wanted some Burmese) because we were some of the first customers of the day, and they checked that no one had cut/cooked mangoes yet.

The pork belly dish and chicken wings appetizer were amazing. This restaurant is one of my new favorites for sure and the ambiance is great!I also highly suggest the coconut rice. It pairs greatly with the curry.

An outstanding Burmese restaurant with fantastic flavors in Valencia. We ordered sesame tofu, vegetarian samusa soup and superstar vegetarian fried rice and liked all of them. If I can eat only one item in this restaurant that would be the samusa soup. It was the best soup I’ve had in recent times.

One of, if not the best entrees I've ever had in my life was the Pork Belly with Mustard Greens and coconut rice from Burma Love. The Burma Superstar cocktail was also extremely good. The entree was spicy and tangy and sweet with amazing texture and taste. The bartender recommended it and I know why. Simply amazing!

I’ve had Burmese food before but this was my first time at Burma Love. We don’t have many options for Burmese down in Orange County, CA. This was my friend’s first time trying Burmese food so needless to say we were both excited. We chatted with some guests who had been here before and they raved about it. The hostess also said everything was good. The server said nothing is a miss. With so much hype, I honestly didn’t believe it. BUT… LET, ME, TELL, YOU..all three dishes we ordered were SO good! The tea leaf salad was flavorful and refreshing. The string beans (my favorite dish) were perfectly cooked with so much flavor. It had a little heat, a little sweetness, a little savory..and a whole lot of deliciousness. The coconut chicken curry (my friend’s favorite dish) was so comforting. This is now on my SF must eat list for myself and for friends and family.

Had a great time at Burma Love. Our server was super friendly and very knowledgeable, and the food was great. The Fiery Vegetables had crisp vegetables, firm tofu, and tender chicken. The Garlic Noodles were garlicky and toothsome, with peanuts, zucchini, and tofu. Lastly, the Shrimp Chutney was rich and savory, with bold seafood flavors and an excellent spice. The coconut rice is a definite upgrade, with a sweetness that perfectly contrasted the savory dishes. Ask for a side of Thai chilis, which are minced and lightly acidic, and outrageously spicy. Overall a great dining experience and I will be back as soon as possible.

I have all good things to say about their dishes. We ordered garlic noodles, samausa soup, fiery tofu, rainbow salad, platha n dip, milk tea. Everything was yum and full of flavour. I will definitely be back to try other dishes.
