If I could give it 6 stars I would. AMAZING FOOD (as good as anything I’ve had in NOLA). The service was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is charming (although some sound absorption panels on the ceiling would help with conversation since sound echoes inside the rectangular dining area).

Hearty Southern cuisine with generous portions. Shrimp & Grit, shrimp hushpuppies, fried chicken and beignets were all spot-on.

Brenda’s is so good! I love this place for brunch. The food is amazing and the people very friendly. One of my favorite spots in San Francisco. The biscuit is a must, so is the pulled pork!

Delicious but very rich-good brunch items for pescatarians

- Eggs Benedict with fried chicken, biscuits, Creole hollandaise and cheesy grits- Chicken and Andouille Gumbo with okra, steamed white rice and spring onions- Plain beignetUnreal comfort food! Huge portions, lots of flavour, and everything was meltingly creamy and buttery. The gumbo was insanely flavourful, with intense, savoury moreishness.

Great, friendly service. All the food was incredibly delicious. Their Delta Scramble special was so good and still came with a biscuit and grits. Biscuits are rich and crumbly and the apple jam complements it perfectly. My friends got the biscuits and gravy with piece of fried chicken and said it was some of the best gravy they'd ever had. Also tried the beignets which were crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Very well done. Definitely coming back sometime.

Excellent food and drinks. everything is amazingly delicious

The service & food are excellent. My husband and I both had Po' Boys. He loved the vegetarian version & I loved the Oyster version. Everything is fresh. the house made dressing is super tasty, as were the seasoned bread crumbs. This is the only way to eat fried okra. Shares some menu items with the sister restaurant, Brenda's Soul Food.

Had a delicious brunch here on Saturday morning. We were able to make a reservation, and they sat us immediately indoors. The apple beignets came out piping hot and sooo delicious, not too sweet and flaky pastry. We had the pulled pork hash with scrambled eggs (alright, not a lot of flavor) and the banana foster French toast (super sweet/decadent). Great service from a waiter Felipe! They also have a cute outdoor patio in the back.

Probably the best most laid back restaurant I’ve ever ate at. We were lucky to get in without a reservation on a Sunday morning. The breakfast was homey and delicious but the best part were the Biscuits. The grits were also really really good.I will for sure be back here just to eat those biscuits again though.
