This was my second visit since the first time I set foot on San Francisco soil in the summer of 2008 and I was in a much better and attentive physical condition to appreciate the consistently high quality of food and the creative approach to traditional southern cuisine in a trendy and historic, yet modest setting. It was absolutely perfect conditions, quiet and sunny, for a mid week brunch.
The food is not fancy nor are the portion sizes large, so it's overpriced for what you get compared to some other places. I still enjoyed my eggs benedict with avocado and bacon toppings though.
Great outdoor seating. Sit and chat in sunlight. Food is good too.
My personal favorite brunch spot in the Mission ? never a long wait, great food and the best bloody marys
My experience was a great for being my 1st time with the Food ?. the service needs a bit of improvement..Customer Service is making the customer happy and in turns gets people to come back for the great food & specially when it’s the actual manager Éric of the place that is not being accommodating. I ordered Desayuno Típico it was great..A side of the Yuca Frita and I wanted to get two separate serving of the dipping sauce bc I didn’t want to share mines as it Covid19 awareness and any type illness even if you are with Friend we don’t know where everyone sticks their tongue ? which is one of the dirtiest..part of the body. He wanted to charge me extra for additional serving which that is NOT accommodating.. This was my experience.. & that is why there’s a rating application..
A cute breakfast spot, vegan options, coffee refills. I got the soyrizo hash and subbed tofu for eggs.
dj omlet ( mushroom, jalapeno, bell pepper, spinach) and square cool combo( pancakes) highly recommended
One of the breakfast places I miss the most after moving to East Bay. The chorizo and eggs are amazing and the fact that it's paired with pickled cabbage for acidity is brilliant... It's not overly greasy like other places prepare it. Just delightful! I miss this dish.
Casual, savory and variety. This place was great for "diner" style brunch. They have a great menu with a variety of vegetarian options. The Eggs Benedict were nicely poached with a creamy and slightly spicy hollandaise, plus the fruit was quite fresh! Unfortunately the coffee could have been better, otherwise it would have been perfect.
I’m so disappointed that I’ve lived in SF for 4 years and just recently discovered this place. The food is fantastically priced, wonderful, speedy, and the staff is extraordinarily pleasant. This place will now be a weekly stop for me, and my go to breakfast spot in the neighborhood.
