Great sausages! This is neat hole-in-the-wall kind of place with cool decor.The owner/operator is so cool and provided the best service. I've already returned and I brought my fiancé. He was absolutely over the moon with the amazing sausages and service. I wanted to edit this, my originalreview to add praise.

I tried this place last night for the first time.. Wow.. This place delivers the flavors.. I was so impressed with this place I wish I could give them six stars..
I have visited twice, and each time the ordering process was very confusing and difficult. As an example, Tuesday is “Burger night,” and when I visited at 5:00, they said they had no burgers. Yet, a guy who arrived after me ordered and received a burger. On both occasions, I tried to order the special, and both times I received confused looks from the staff even though I pointed to the sign above the register communicating what I wanted to order. The food itself is okay and reasonably priced, but oh my gosh, it is such an ordeal to try to order something here.

Berliner Berliner is one of the most unique vegan spots in SF. I had the vegan bratwurst sausage on a vegan bun, topped with sauerkraut and onions, and it was absolutely delicious. The bun was crisp, the vegan sausage hearty, and Christine (owner) served us a wonderful mango sweet treat afterwards that she made on the spot just for us. As we were leaving, she even brought our French bulldog a little sausage treat! We will certainly return many, many times.
Stumbled upon Berliner Berliner after grabbing a coffee at Sightglass nearby. The proprietor, Christine, was wonderful. We eat a vegetarian diet and we’re taken with the options in spite of the classic meat heavy German cuisine. The food was great and experience with Christine even better. We will be back again!
Tastiest sausages ever! Fave is the Godfather. I could eat 2 if you asked me to ;)
