The best meal of the year so far. You could feel all the work in every item that got served. I felt like I wasn’t eating only just food but time spent on every piece of food. The rabbit was amazing. The truffle taco was a stand out as well as the conch porridge. We’ll definitely be back to try a different season menu.

Of the many 3 star restaurants I've been to, this one is the hardest to find glowing things to mention here. Everything was good, but nothing stood out as "Holy [explitive]!", nothing mind blowing. No drinks pairing was offered. The service was solid, no complaints there. Compared to the other 3 star restaurants around San Francisco, I would come here second. Everything was fine, but that may be the problem. Why am I spending this much for "yea, that was fine"?

Michelin 3 stars worth every dime. Zen ambiance, impeccable presentations of fresh S.Korean fused with French flair with finely orchestrated service.

Excellent Asian inspired tasting menu with a good selection of cocktails and wine as well.

10 out of 10, 5 stars, just a perfect meal from start to finish.

Took me a while to decide to write this review!! The birthday celebration was in late 2021 and after an extraordinary dinner at Bird Dog last night, I decided to express how I felt after my third visit to Benu that we will never visit again!! Food was beautiful but extremely in expansive, serving colorful Tofu, couple pieces of mushroom, rice wrap with seaweed, fried rice was not justify to pay $500 per person!!! Beside the Quail, nothing were worth the money!!! May be we are paying for the technique??!!! Extremely disappointed at Cory Lee that he is so full of himself and think he is a super star!!! WRONG!!! Our Asian waitress was so condescending that why I am not finishing the rice wrapped with seaweed???!!! This will be our last visit and we rather spend our money elsewhere like French Laundry, Protege, Atelia Crenn and many others Michelin starts restaurants in SF/Bay Area!!!

This is my second time celebrating special occasion at benu, and I am just as satisfied as last time amazing execution of all the dishes, friendliest staff, and we get to take a photo with Corey Lee!However I wish they can bring back the old menu (back in 2017) when I didn’t have to choose between dishes. Overall, it was still a wonderful epicurean journey ?

Best Asian Fusion. Worth its 3 starts

3 star Michelin for a reason.

Exceeded our expectations. They created a beautiful vegan menu. My husband is not vegan but they still presented similar dishes which was beautiful. Such a beautiful experience for my husbands and I. Presentation, and service couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend.
