We were searching for sushi and settled on this place, and so glad we did! Juicy burgers and an open toppings bar- loved!
So good! My family and I were looking for the perfect lunch spot on the way to the de Young and found Belly. This was our first visit. They make one of the best signature burgers (with a side of bleu cheese I requested) I’ve been craving since leaving Santa Barbara and going to Kyle’s Kitchen for my usual burger fix. Julie made us feel really special and the owner/cook is really attentive with how he prepares the food. Great tasting burgers and sides. Our visit surpassed my expectations. Highly recommended.
Huge burgers!! Seriously huge. Two meals for sure. Be prepared to be given gloves to add condiments. If you need the restroom, it says out of order, but the cook has the key. The outdoor dining in back is nice.
Love and miss this place so much!! Just popped into my head today and I had to check if they were still open. So happy to see Covid didn’t do them under!!Husband and I will be back with our now 18month old baby soon!!!! We left SF for Dublin 3 years ago abut havent forgot our favorite burger spot! ❤️?????
Extremely delicious Belly Burger served on an ultra fresh and tasty homemade bun. Plethora of burger toppings to choose from from a self serve topping bar (lettuce (leaf, shredded 3 types), spinach, pickles, sliced red and green peppers, black olives, and more) ..topping bar and condiment bar. Ecstatically delicious curly fries!! Very tasty creme soda made in NYC served in a chilled bottle (not a can). My friend and I enjoyed our meals in a very clean and quiet back patio. All was cooked and served by a very polite and courteous owner. Highly recommended!!!!
The food is tasty and service is fantastic. Friendly with that real mom and pop feel. What I loved most is they have a self serve bar for all your toppings and condiments. This was so refreshing because so many places nickel and dime every pickle, to the point of me feeling like I have to negotiate for another slice of tomato. But not this place, definitely coming back.

The food is very rich, I love curly potatoes, they are delicious, you can put everything you like pineapple, onion, tomato, lettuce, olives. I am really delighted with this place.
Note that indoor eating is allowed, but they require proof of vaccination to do so. I showed a pick of my vaccination card on my phone. Staff is great. Accidentally gave me the wrong type of fries but they very quickly corrected my order. Would suggest the curly fries over the garlic fries.
I've had their fish and chips millions of times. They are bussin. Shakes are good. Cheap and great quality.
