I still can't believe how difficult it was to find a place to get boba in or around Japan Town. Granted, we were relying pretty heavily on Google maps and Yelp, but there weren't many options showing up on either app. Maybe we were led astray that day? At any rate, after a brief circuit of not just the mall but a few blocks surrounding Japan Town, we ended back up at Belly Good. They had a manageable line when we stopped, and the girl at the register did a good job taking new orders and calling out numbers for completed orders. We didn't want anything too crazy - just some hydration with boba - so I went with a green apple slush, and my husband got a lychee slush. The kitchen whipped the drinks up in a flash, and we were on our way in no time. The green apple slush was good - not too sour or tart, and not too obviously fake-tasting. It was hydrating, which was what I was looking for at that point in time (it was super humid that day, and we'd already walked almost 5 miles, sweating the whole way). My husband liked his lychee slush, but did say it wasn't his favorite drink. The boba balls were a bit disappointing for me. They were bland - I do prefer a hint of sweetness to them - and way too soft.

These are absolutely the cutest crepes I have ever seen! I didn't actually try them because they don't have a vegan crepe (which is also why I'm only giving them 4 stars) but hubby said it was delicious. Anyway 10 stars for the looks of the crepes!

Yummy crepes and super cute, the #31 with yogurt ice cream is so delicious. Boba tasted very fresh.
My wife got a strawberry crepe and strawberry icecream and I got chocolate gelato, the fruit is very fresh, they give you a ticket when you pay and they called us when it was ready. The food was super good. Japantown mall was a fun experience although come at lunchtime because at 6pm many of the shops close.
ADORABLE! Who knew they could take a Nutella special and make it into a cute little friend? (subbing Cookies & Cream ice cream was a great choice, by the way).Super delicious.
