Iâve visited Bellota three times now, and it has consistently left nothing to be desired. The staff is always attentive and friendly and the food is amazing. I would recommend sitting indoors if possible, the ambience is much better!
Great vegan paella
We were having a date night and had an incredible time. All the dishes were delicious especially the jamon with stone fruits. This is one of our favorite restaurants in SF. Will come back again.

Excellent everything. Food was amazing. Jorge was excellent!!! He stood out with level of service. Gilda- olives - Great per my husband husband. Not a big fan of olives. Crudo- incredible, ordered a second round. Matrimonio- also incredible, way better than expected - also ordered a second round Charcutería platter- excellent - maybe more than 3 pieces of bread would be been preferred, you can ask for more but thereâs a charge. We did, unfortunately, it came out very late and charcuterie was done. Melocotí³n- I loved this. Nice little mid dining sweetness. Bravas- great!⦠light and crispy Pulpo Asado- excellent! We had 2 orders. Pescado- favorite dish of the night. It was AMAZING!! beautifully charred and tender. I think it was Branzino Bone in ribeye steak- it was very good but for $100 for 16 oz, we were expecting amazing. Dessert- torta arroz con leche - good. Churros- great- light and crispy. Came with chocolate and caramel sauce - caramel was soo good. Coffee- unfortunately I received my americano with the saucer, the handle, the cup and the sugar packets covered in coffee and less coffee in the cup. It was obvious it head been spilled but I guess they were too busy to fix it. Disappointing for a high end restaurant. It was getting super busy and it seemed like everyone was hustling and we felt pressure to get out of there. I didnât ask for another one. We were about 5-10 min past our â2 hourâ window so maybe thatâs why.

At first I loved the vibe, but once I sat down I realized I'd be yelling at the other side of the table for the rest of the night. It is just very loud. For a G&T menu like that I expected way more. The paella was super disappointing. We got the mushroom one to split and the bottom was burnt. Like black and not in a "burnt but crispy way". There was no crisp. I don't know if I would go back... for those prices, I expect way more.
