What can I say, I'm a tourist.... What do tourist do? They buy expensive junks made in China and take a plethora of pictures..... With that in mind, this place is extremely exciting! There are tons of shop and food destinations. I went to most of the shops and I can say that they all pretty much have the same exact thing. A lot of little trinkets and even more clothing. Even though the merchandise is pretty much the same, it was so much fun walking around and looking at everything regardless. Plus, it's good exercise after gorging your face in delicious food. Like I said, everything was pretty pricey, but what tourist hotspot isn't??? I enjoyed my time thoroughly and I will definitely be back.
What a wonderful and unique menu! Had the octopus stew, oven roasted calamari, gnochetti with pork meats, and pasta with sea urchin tomato and cured tuna heart. We paired our dishes with a bottle of Cannonau. All dishes were absolutely delicious. The octopus stew deserves special mention: I think I went through an entire plate of bread in order to soak up all the sauce. I'm craving the dish right now as I type this! The pasta was perfectly cooked.
near sfgh so parking may be a challenge, pick up only during covid, mucho rice on the nigiris; otherwise, takeout was fresh & portion good for the price. frozen durian, banchans, & ceviche as well.
Had a lovely lovely dinner with a friend out in the back patio. Got reservations and all. Attentive service from start to finish. Waiters are so friendly. Ordered a whole bottle wine. Tried the staples. Honestly it was a stupendous experience for my mouth. Unique tastes and textures. Best part is you can take a walk after and go get ice cream at Mitchell's.
Very accommodating staff. Good rolls, poke, and sashimi. Affordable price. Go visit if you’re in the area!
I do not recommend. Sushi is much more fresh at Safeway. The ginger was discolored brown and dried out. The food we received was not at all good quality: we ordered the shrimp burger which was just popcorn shrimp on a bun. Sushi rolls were room temperature, one was fresh, raw salmon and the other was deep fried: both were the same temp. We could barely eat what we ordered, had to dissect it. This wasn't a good representation of a seafood restaurant. We were disappointed ?
Pros: $7 for the poke salmon is a pretty good deal. It was tasty and quick to get.Cons: The sizes in pictures are a bit deceiving. I ordered two sets of poke to get enough food. The location is not easy to find parking to pick up food.
7 dollars for the poke and 2 dollars for the rice! Crazy affordable. Would definitely come back again :). They don’t have indoor seating (due to covid) so be prepared to grab and go! There’s a nearby park though so you can grab your poke and enjoy some sun!
Great hidden spot in the Mission! The fish is really fresh and the prices are reasonable!
For the price, it far exceeds all expectations. Nicest proprietor too. Glad they have become a mainstay in our neighborhood. Order from their own square site!
