Loved the food, service, and location--right next to SF Jazz!
Great experience. I recommend this restaurant whether you're going to a concert or just going out to eat.
We love the B-Side. When we went this time it was noisier than usual and it seemed more crowded which isn't great when one wants to have a bit of conversation. Otherwise, the food was good and the fact that the general manager came around to the table really made the experience great. Our favorite starter is the charred chives with mushrooms and squid but this time they were under cooked so they didn't have the usual sweetness. It is one of our go to restaurants when we go for a performance.
Food was very good with a good variety.....at our table we had a Fried Chicken Sandwich, Falafel, two different salads and pozole. Dessert recommendation: the Key Lime Pie and the Bread Pudding. Didn't give 5 stars all the way across due to noise levels, but I would return.
Very convenient for pre-show. Small plate choices were interesting and delicious.
Great food with excellent service. Highest recommendation for dining before a show at SFJazz. Food was prompt and service was friendly.
Great pork chop!
House veggie burger is scrumptious. So was the beet salad. With this place next to SFJazz, perfect, easy date. Great food and drinks, great music.
Really enjoyed dining at B-Side. Will do it again.
Lively scene with upbeat classic jazz theme and sound. Open minimalist glass concrete and steel decor attached to the huge modern jazz venue. Good acoustics so it didn't feel loud even when full. Good table spacing. Neighborhood feels safe and scenic, buzzing with bars and cafes. Service was excellent with many friendly visits to our table including some by the manager to check in during dinner. The Mexican dishes were standouts: shrimp tostada app, posole soup and cochinito entrée. Beet salad was excellent. Cocktails were good, could be more creative in flavor and presentation. Very reasonable prices.
