Quite honestly one of my favorite restaurants in SF - the interior was just beautiful and the service was fantastic. Every dish, while using a unique combination of flavors and ingredients, tasted incredible. Even the radicchio dish (and I usually don't like radicchio) was incredible with the cocoa nibs/granola mixed in. Highly recommend the corn bread with saffron butter and the couscous - both so well made. Also a large option of non alcoholic drinks as well which I really appreciated. Will definitely be coming back with family and friends for fancier occasions!
Fantastic food experience! The spreads and buns are a must, delicious and flavorful! Other favorite was the Kafta. For main dish we had the lamb and there’s no wonder why it has been part of the menu for so long.Drinks are great too, the staff is fast and friendly. I really recommend this place.
I loved this place! We had a starter and a main and some cocktails. The food was delicious with a very interesting twist. The presentation was spot on. The drinks were delicious. And the service was wonderful.
Worth every penny! The lamb was delicate, extremely well cooked and just a wonderful experience. If you’re choosing between drinks and dessert, would recommend the desserts (they’re pretty good!) Would also highly recommend getting the Cornbread with Harissa Butter, I’ve never had butter this great. PSA: if you’re not used to having heavy food, pace yourselves. Food is heavy.
Service: 11/10 - aka IMPECCABLEMy friends and I opted to dine outdoors and the service was lovely. The staff were nice and VERY attentive. Since my friends and I opted to share all of the dishes, the waiter made sure to bring out the dishes gradually instead of all at once and checked back on us frequently.Food: 8/10The food was good. However, I felt like the flavors were pretty repetitive. A lot of the dishes had the same spices so after sampling everything, it felt kind of redundant. We order 4-5 dishes for a party of 3 because we wanted to sample a variety but were disappointed that the spices were practically the same. But none of the dishes were bad and the food was good. I recommend the chicken roulade and the corn bread.
A great late night option to eat somewhere with someone special. Always start (and end) with the cornbread with harissa butter. This time the lamb shank was exceptional.... the wine list and cocktails were fab...did I say don't overlook the cornbread...
Delicious. The braised lamb shank is tender and juicy. The basteeya is so satisfying. I wish the service had been better when I ate there (they made some errors on our order and our bill at the end). All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant because of the quality of the food.
Aziza is back and better than ever! Fantastic and knowledge staff, wonderful open decor, killer drinks. And of course the food was divine! Make your reservations now!
We had a reservation for this restaurant a week before I arrived and in San Francisco and was really excited for it. I was NOT let down. The food is so incredibly yummy, and the cocktails were even more so. I Definitely recommend this place for a dinner date, the low light can create a nice relaxing atmosphere for a date.
We were running late because we couldn't find parking but the team at Aziza handled it like pros and kept our guests engaged. Food was out of this World. Manager checked in several times and described each entree. Was here because my wife's name is Aziza. Will be back, for sure.
