I tried calling ahead to place a order and no answer after 3 attempts. So I drove down expecting it to be busy and it wasn't busy nor any customers. So I while standing at the door for 2 mins I called and phone just rings. Finally see someone in the kitchen so I make my presence none. He yells customer and it takes another 2 minutes before someone came from the back on their cell phone. Needless to say it took 30 mins for me to get chicken n waffles and shrimp n grits. At least the food was hot and fresh.
I’ll give it a 3 stars because the food is good. . Place an order they take your money make you wait an hr or more for the food then cancel your order. Now you have to wait for 3-5 business days to get money back that only took them 2 secs to take. Hey Very disappointed in the unprofessionalism that I encounter from them. I guess it depends on who’s working that day. I just feel they need to be held accountable for how customers are treated at times. There is always room for improvement.
Take out only but wow incredible. Went with the og meal. Food took awhile, but worth the wait. The syrup could be better, but I had no problem standing outside and enjoying my plate.It looks like they were preparing meals for less fortunate community members, so respect on that front. Perhaps that is what made it take awhile.
Fried chicken and waffles were fantastic. Crispy and not greasy on the inside. Would definitely come again for just the chicken and waffles.Shrimp and Grits had a gravy that tasted like they mixed it with Ranch dressing...
The food took way too long, considering they have no business. The food was terrible: flavorless. The chicken was dry. They were out of all desserts except pound cake. Why?? They had the odacity to ask if I wanted to automatically give a 20% tip. Uh, no. For what?
Very well prepared Fried Chicken. However it was a little bland for my Palit. The beans were undercooked and bland as well. I will return. The atmosphere of the place makes me want to return because of my deep Bay Area Roots. I want to try more from the menu.

So so slow, and the food was only okay. It took 30 minutes to get one piece of fried chicken and a side to go. Chicken was good, but the mashed potatoes were not. I would only go here if there was no one else in the place so you are stuck waiting for long.
I had a pretty so-so experience here. We tried to dine-in here, big mistake. The outdoor seating was disgusting and there were flies everywhere. If I were to ever get food from here, I’d never go in person again. Pretty bad vibes. The food was good and I really enjoyed it when we went. I originally wanted to give this place 3 starts because of the food, but honestly I’m not sure if the food was actually that great, or if I was just craving chicken and waffles at the time.If you’re in the mood for chicken and waffles, I wouldn’t go out of your way to come here unless you’re nearby. Ordering for delivery might be the best option.
