Family raved about this bakery and stated it's a must try! Just avoid mornings, lunch time, and right after work since the lines can get fairly longFood/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - Four cheese focaccia was cheesy, moist, airy, and has a hint of olive oil taste. A slight sprinkle of parmesan cheese adds just a bit saltiness for you to want another bite. It is quite heavy thoughBrioche knot reminds us of the milk bread you can find at Asian bakeries. It has a sweetness that is heightened by the dried fruits inside and a richness that is so satisfying. The bread is really soft and can easily be torn into smaller piecesScone of the day with dried fruits just couldn't compare to the brioche knot in terms of flavor or texture. While it's crumbly texture was wonderful, it needed some clotted cream to compete against the other items purchasedAmbience: N/A - small window that you order to go fromService: 5/5 - quick and to the point. It was just after 5:00 PM before it for super busy and he was willing to answer questions and make recommendationsValue for price: 5/5 - delicious bread, slightly pricey but worth it for satisfying any cravings

A cute little bakery who with very efficient service. The baked goods are sweet but the pizza isn’t your standard Italian or American pizza (literally just a baked bread with stuff on top) but it’s good for what it is. Only small complaint would be that it’s not warm or toasted but then it wouldn’t be efficient. The two pizzas of the day are down below (mushroom one and a tomato one).

Great prices and we loved the Bialy (poppy seed & onion) bread. We also tried a southwest focaccia slice and a brioche knot which were solid but I probably wouldn’t get them again. The Bialy was slightly salty which paired really well with the sweetness of the onions. I can only imagine how much better it would be warm, straight out of the oven. For the focaccia slice, I personally did not like the corn topping but feel that the other toppings available might be better. The brioche knot is very dense, slight cinnamon flavor, and also had golden raisins which I thought paired nicely (even though I don’t really like raisins).Great location a few blocks from golden gate park and there’s also a decent amount of outdoor seating in the parklet. Definitely want to come back and try the olive focaccia, jalapeño stick, and croissants.

We stumbled on this bakery after a wander around Golden Gate Park. There was a large queue which caught my eye as it was around 2.30 on a Tuesday afternoon - not exactly peak time for a typical bakery! The queue moved quickly and we ordered a number of sweet and savoury items, all of which looked utterly delectable in the shop window. Highlights included the cauliflower masala pizza - I know it sounds random but it really worked and a ‘chocolate thing’ which managed to be luxurious and not too sweet at the same time. I’d strongly recommend and would go out of my way to visit again.

Love this bakery. I’ve been a loyal customer for 5+ years since moving into the inner sunset. My favorites are pumpkin muffin. Faccica rounds. Baguettes with seeds.Shortbread cookies. Croissants. PIZZZZZA!!The lines get long and popular items sell out quickly. Street parking only.Super friendly and professional staff. The bakery makes a ton of special/ seasonal / cakes and items to celebrate an array of festivities. Ranging from PRIDE to king cakes and lunar new year items. Super experience every time.

Wish I had thought to take a photo of the delicious baked items offered at Arizmendi Bakery. Today, my daughter and I had their excellent vegan mint chocolate cookie and brioche knot. In the past I have had their scones. I cannot opine about their bread, but will update this review after I do. You should definitely give this bakery a try.

I did not particularly enjoy what I had purchased (Brussels sprouts focaccia) but the people with me loved what they ate a lot (mushroom focaccia). Guess I will have to go back for a first-hand 5 star experience. I did have the short bread cookie and it was amazing.

Love there banana nut muffin. I can't have dairy and the have few options! I was very happy there Banana nut muffin is dairy free!! Most bakeries only make one option, a bran muffin which I am not really fond of?. Arizmendi has 3+ options. I sat outside had my muffin and coffee! Highly recommended for those who are plant-based or vegan and want a little something sweet! The breads are fabulous as well!

Outstanding bakery in a city of outstanding bakeries. Although the line can be long, it’s worth the wait. Everything is well-made and very fresh. The Equator coffee is superb, as always. Arizmendi, a worker-owned cooperative, makes the hipster newcomer, Tartine, look like a pithy, spoiled relative by comparison. Arizmendi all the way!

My favorite bakery in San Francisco.I go every Friday to bring home a light baked pizza to heat up for Friday pizza night. They're vegetarian, but they taste great, and the sourdough crust is absolutely delicious.Their baked goods are incredible too.
