Fun Atmosphere, Good Beer. Anchor is a San Francisco staple since 1896. Their Christmas beer always changes and never dissapoints. They host lots of fantastic food pop ups and are dog friendly. Totally laid back vibes and really great staff. Everyone here is super nice. I've brought bigger groups here with no problems. Lots of space for everyone to hang out and play corn hole.

If you do the tour next door first they will give you a free half pint

Great beers on tap and on Wednesdays they do trivia nights which are super fun, though max 6 players per team. Really like the foghorn beer and their sour. They partner with a Mexican restaurant that offers food on site. The food is tasty but a bit pricey overall. Nachos are probably the best deal.

Very spacious open outdoor seating area. If you’re really into beer you’ve got to come once for the history, but now there’s a lot better beer around

Fun, chill atmosphere. We very much enjoyed the beer and the vibe. I had a Steam and an Old Foghorn, which were excellent. We played some arcade free throws, which was fun. Overall, a great time.

Simply amazing. Great beers and really kind folks. The environment is awesome as well. We will be back!

They've got great sours as well as all types of beer. The hangar doors are open to outside but there are plenty of heaters that keep the place warm

Great place to visit with friends. Outdoor seating makes it very pleasant. Warning: no food is served here. Just Anchor Steam beer.

If you are near Potrero Hill in San Francisco(south of Mission Bay), you must visit the Anchor Steam Brewery. The brewery does Public tours daily until 5pm, BUT the tap room has a large indoor and outdoor venue that is popular with locals for good reason. Great pints!! Fun energy!! And dog friendly btw.

Underrated spot in Portrero Hill- great beer + food trucks. Definitely coming here to watch a warriors game on the projector and throw a dozen back.
