DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT, there are RATS into the place. Yesterday I came to this restaurant because it had great reviews. When I arrived I noticed there was no one beside of us, so there is no ambience. Also the waiter was rushing us to order because the chef needed to leave. So we ordered jamon iberico (which it wasn't good at all) and 2 glassed of red wine (which were ok). So, we were eating and suddenly I looked to the floor and saw a RAT walking through the dining area. It was DISGUSTING and I will never go again. Also I think that this restaurant shouldn't be in open table after this. DO NOT GO.
I’ve been here a few time while traveling. I found it by accident while walking. This place is fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. English or Spanish can be spoken. The food is off the wall delicious, especially the paella. Just an amazingly serene experience.
We asked if they had any mocktails and the owner came out and made us something special which he kept refilling. It was a wonderful first date!

The food was amazing! Real Delicious Spanish food, it was like traveling to Spain. The staff are super friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back. We strongly recommend going. The best.

Hands down among my best restaurant experiences, after having dined around the world, and coming from a pretty foodie-oriented city (Atlanta). We loved our experience at Alegrias! Also VERY family friendly.
What an amazing Spanish restaurant with wonderful staff, Owners are super nice and true hospitality people. Please support this owner operated restaurant, great food, very reasonable wine menu and caring owners. SF dining scene needs more restaurants like this !!!! Check them out, you wonât be disappointed !!!
