Great food, service was amazing. My boyfriend and I stopped in while in town for business and would recommend to anyone who asked for a recommendation.
As a nearby neighbor on Russian Hill in San Francisco, this is by far my favorite local restaurant. (Iâve tried them all.) Great food, service & ambiance. I highly recommend.
We have been fans of Abrazo since they opened in our neighborhood. It is great to see Michael realize his vision: inventive and fresh Spanish influenced food. The paella was superb last night!!
One of the best meals weâve had in a long time. Great service. Ambience was cozy and the Spanish music was just perfect for the room. I wish theyâve had mentioned our anniversary (I selected the option when reserving) but nevertheless we will come back and definitely recommend it to our friends.

Abrazo is a true neighborhood gem. We've eaten here off and on since it opened several years back, used their takeout options during the pandemic shutdown and are happy to see that it's better than ever. The kitchen has definitely upped its game. Every dish we had demonstrated an attention to detail and a flare for adding little touches that placed the meal at 'memorable'. From the simple tortilla to the refined charred octopus to the classic croquetas every dish was beautifully presented achieved the perfect balance of flavors. The Myagi oysters with accompanying gazpacho granita were among the best we've ever had. Their house made churros and ice cream were also great, particularly a basil scented scoop of ice cream the owner brought us to try. On this visit we only ordered from their tapas / appetizer menu, so we need to come back soon to try their main courses.
This was our second visit to Abrazzo and we were just as impressed as the first time. Everything about this place appeals to us and, the fact that we can walk roundtrip makes it even better. We took 2 friends this time and will take 4 next time. Owner Mike Pawlik has done a great job.
This gem is a neighborhood surprise. The food is inventive and fresh, the service warm, and the setting iconic San Francisco with the cable car rattling by regularly. We will be returning soon!
